I had the same experience. It took moving to get rid of things I hadn’t used in years. Also we have the same set of a cats- a ginger and a black!

How were you able to close if they still live there? Oregon might be different but I’ve never heard of that happening.

Erica Thurston that’s normal. About half of the time you close and have some time before they move out and the other half they aren’t there. My parents sold our house while we lived in it. Most people selling apartments in Europe also typically live in the house. It just depends on where and what the financial situation is.

It's so weird that you're still able to move house at this time! Here in the UK everything has been put on hold since like 3 weeks ago so you couldn't close in that time because moving house is non essential

Siân in the US, housing is essential. All housing employees are essential workers and required to continue working, from realtors to property management. The only reason people are backing out of housing changes are due to financial situations.
