I have a lot of stuff stored here in the wardrobe at my mums. A lot of it is sentimental stuff that I'd like to eventually move to my forever home. Buy a plastic tool container that has small compartments and put your threads in it. I love it for compartmentalising jewellery in it as well.

I really like this cosy declutter vibe! And I#m curious: Do the cats still like the blanket now that they have permission to destroy it even further? I somehow imagine that the moment it is allowed to scratch something cats don't like it anymore.

Is that your moms newly build house? Your room looks so modern and nice :) I hope she got financial support and now doesn't sit in debt for having to rebuild a home. That would be so unfair

It is my mums new house, its modern but doesn't have the character of the old one. I just painted my room a few videos back. Its been a fun process. Thankfully the insurance covered all of the new house and she had some grants from charities and the government that helped out. ❤️💛

May i ask you why you store this valueable stuff, like the gifts from your grandma and important documents in this house? You lost this home once and i remember you panicing about evacuation because of nearby fires. So this area seems to be very prone to fires. Whould it be much safer for this emontional stuff to be stored at your brothers house?

It was only 1 fire in 30+ years of being here, unfortunately the threat has been more frequent in recent years, my goal is to consolidate it all do its easily moveable and my mum can grab it incase of a fire. My brothers have only just moved into their own homes a couple of months ago that are a more permanent solution. Its also about a 7 hour drive to Melbourne and I haven't had a chance to box anything up and be able to move it there, if that were an option. Hope that helps explain it a bit better 😊💛
