I am on a mission this year to hack my life to make living with a chronic illness easier, more streamlined and more mental illness friendly. I'm am looking to make all aspects of my life more simple, to make chores and processes less difficult so I can be more independent. In this video, I am starting my decluttering journey to simplify my space and make keeping my environment tidy easier to maintain with limited energy.

Reminder: everyone with ME/CFS is different! So you or someone you know might have a very different experience with ME/CFS than I do at the moment! Also, remember that chronic conditions such as these can change dramatically over time, so my life may look very different to this in the future (and has be A LOT worse in the past).
Thank you so much for watching!! Make sure to like, comment, and subscribe to see more videos from me most FRIDAYS!

Glad I’m not the only one who’s bothered by the see-through tops!

This has inspired me to declutter. I am quite sentimental and have trouble getting rid of stuff, but every now and then I do a huge purge of stuff. I am disabled and need to simplify my rooms to keep up better with it. ❤

Decluttering has helped me so much! 💛 I'm also happy to see that you have help going through it all because it can take up so much energy to make decisions about everything

I finally put away my summer clothes two months ago😂. I need help too and ended up crashing for days afterwards, but it’s always nice to get done.

Hi Elinor, I think today you can wear anything that fits you and is your personal style. Trends are coming and going so fast 🤷‍♀️.... I'm wearing still clothes from my youth (and I'm 40 now). With sentimental items not fitting any more, I try to upcycle (a bag out of one of my favourite jeans etc.). Or I make a photo and give it away. For me, I don't want to store things without using them only for sentimental reasons. They take up to much space and effort.

Could you dye the grey jumpers at the start of the video with one of those washing machine capsule dyes? Just an idea to make them more colourful x

I wear skinny jeans too (not super tight ones) they fit me better than other styles. I think mom jeans and cargo pants are in. Which are great for a looser feel.😊

I think wide and straight leg are more ‘in’ now, but personal preference is way more important than trends!!
