Hey folks, in this project I am using a bunch of colors my dear friend Cindy has sent over to me a while ago...Never used them for a pouring project so far (only for normal paintings)....and wanted give them justice into some pours..Paints are from DecoArt and I hope you will enjoy the project.

I would definately keep it, beautiful!! Looks like a dark moonlit night with clear water swirling on the beach!! I love it!!

Great to see you (hear you 😁) Michael! I have missed you. Your painting is pretty and there are some beautiful parts and some 🤔 parts lol but I enjoyed watching you pour so so much!! I am STILL giddy about receiving your fantastic box of paintings all the way from Germany and your paintings are all around my house...inside of course lol so you are always in my heart. thank you so much my dear!! I will be back a bit more regular soon, no worries. i took some time off educating me and so I will be turning more into the realistic way more and more....just to keep everyone inspired ^^

Keep, keep for sure. Varnish will bring out the sheen of the metallics. I am surprised that there is no golden haze over everything. It’s a beautiful piece, kind of matches my mood.

Hi Michael and Patrick!! Hope you are both (and your families) doing well ♥ this!!! for the majority of the video when you were stretching the paint, this remind me of Neptune (planet), It's like we can reach out through a window pane and see/touch this icy planet ♥ (still watching the video, you know me... had to pause lol) Pausing again while dry: OMG!!! my jaw just dropped to the floor as my heart skipped a beat (in a good way), it's like if Jupiter and Neptune had a baby planet!!! wooow... I can see so many images within the planet... it's like a planet with a galaxy of it's own within it's core ♥ Pause again: that corner is on key, I love it, it like in between the wing of a blue butterfly, the eye of a tiger, and a magical river Please don't pour over it, it is extremely gorgeous!

Hi Michael and Patrick. How r u guys? So great to have/ see u back!!! I love it!!! I think its a keeper... the top, the lacing is amazing. I wish too the gold would of popped more.. it reminds me of the deep ocean. The top also looks like a lightening storm. Its gorgeous 😍 stay safe..

We are fine and I hope you are too :) I did spend way less time with youtube the last weeks or even months now...wanted to spend some time educating myself to kick off things in a more realistic way in drawing and painting....so I hope to be soon back a bit more regular than I was in the last weeks :)

@@MKLGRMFineArt im happy to hear you guys are 👍 good!! Im hanging in there. I just found out I have plaque in my coradid artery & I already had a heart attack couple of years ago. So thats why I haven't been watching. It surely isn't cuz i dont want to. You & tracie reed are my number 1🤗 I go see dr & tests thurs & fri. Im too young for this lol. Im not saying my personal stuff to make you feel bad just to let u know thats why. I wouldn't stop watching you. You too much of a great artist & your teaching & humor is amazing 👏 💙🤎 I appreciate all you do.

I'm really surprised that the gold colour doesn't come out! Too bad! But I really like the whole top part. When the paint was still wet you could see the turquoise interference but once dry you can only guess... In any case these colours are really beautiful. :)

yeah the gold was a bummer but perhaps some shine comes back when the varnish is done...will let you all know :)

Looks amazing! I agree, that top area of the blues is gorgeous, and there's a lot of interest in the bottom white area. I'm surprised that gold disappeared on you! 😥 How did the interference turn out? I've had to use it pretty heavily to have it show well in a pour, but I love it for going back over on a dried pour with a brush. Overall, it's a beautiful piece! I hope you enjoyed playing around with some different paints! Big hugs to you and Patrick! 🤗🥰

I could not spot the interference paint on the painting and agreed with the gold. It would have been cool having some of it in the middle ribbon. There is some of the copper but it is way less intense than the gold would have looked...but well..one never knows ;D I love the colors and there are still so many to try a pour with :)

@@MKLGRMFineArt yes, I think the interference is best left for embellishing, but you never until you try! Maybe you could add some gold leaf through that center to spruce it up.

Did you mix that into straight PVA??? I missed something. I’m not a fan of glue I’ve had mixed success with it. The extreme sheen gives amazing cell action but if you mixed in PVA that might be why you didn’t get them. I love the color pallet all complimentary very ethereal looking.

Yes it was the only thing that I had left to pour with. Surprised though as I usually get cells from the glue itself. Not my favorite too but this glue works pretty well. Had another brand a year back and this caused the paints to crack and rip apart...

I was surprised the gold was almost entirely lost....Cells...well I did not hope for any so I was fine with it :D

Hi, did you give the Extreme Sheen a good stir? I use it quite a lot and it is normally very glittery. Maybe it was the ready to pour paints. 8 have bought the rather expensive Arteza set of ready pour paints and found the6 don’t work with other paints at all!

well I shaked it and stirred it in as usual...never tried these paints before and perhaos some of the less shiny ones layed over...Can't really tell...Think I will give it a varnish finish and see what this changes :)
