I had Heart attack 10 days back. The main artery was 💯 blocked. I reached hospital with in 1 hour. Doctor removed the blockage and installed one stent ( Synergy) and discharged me after 5 days. I am feeling bit weak for short spans , but able to walk normally for more than 15 mins. I am asked to visit hospital after 2 weeks for follow-ups. What should I do to have a normal life.

I had a heart attack (I didn't pass out) three years ago at 37 due to years of bad cholesterol and not taking cholesterol medication. I end up with seven stents. Since then, I made big lifestyle changes and taking all prescribed medications. If I continue my medication, lifestyle changes, and lose weight, what are my chances of living long enough to see 75? I also quit smoking

I think it should not be a problem if you are doing regular health check uos as well.. get treadmill test every 2 tto 3 years.. follow lifestyle modification

Hi doc, I have ldl more than 190, doctor prescribed for satin tablets. Also checked my heart thru echo and other test there is no blockage. I don't have any history with heart problems. I'm 39 age. Should I start taking statin tablets?as doc suggest med. Is it for life long? If I continue taking statin tablets and have good life style can I live till 75? Can I stop statin tablet after my ldl becomes normal? Thanks

Gulucoz ki bottel lagaye he unki enjoplasty hui he 6 month huye he or unko ye dikkat ho rahi he oxygen leval ab unka 88. Hello sir please reply me immediately. My father yesterday had some chest pain and discomfort and he went to hospital then ecg and blood test done after that angiogram done. Dr says he had 4 blocks on the ends it's difficult to angioplasty past he had 2 attacks results in weakness and he is now in icu but he is seen well no problems🛑🛑🛑

Sir My father had a open heart surgery 4 years ago. He had blocks and he did bypass surgery. Last month he told me that the life expectancy after the surgery are 10 years he said that 4 years already gone and he will pass away once next 6 years ends. Then after few weeks i asked him again he said he lied and he said to me not to worry he said he will live for long long years with medications..he said like with help of medications he can live for 80+ age long Which is true Sir???

Hi, My dad found out he had a 95% blockage. They did an emergency procedure and placed a stent. He is now on multiple medication. My questions are 1. Does that blockage cause muscle damage when it didn’t result in heart attack? We were just in time 2. Does he have to be on medication FOREVER? 3. Can he go back to his normal life (running, lifting heavy things?) 4. Is bruising normal a month after stent placement?

Sir what about the intimal damage and future risk for stroke following stent insertion.If a patient is stable and has no ECG or Echo changes but occasional anginal pains,Is getting a stent as preventive measure beneficial as the pulsatality of artery is lost.

I had a heart attack at age 28. One stent inserted to my LAD. That was 7 years ago now and I’ve had no worries ever since. Never a smoker or drinker. I guess I have bad genes.

yes i agree stenting saves lifes if applied to match the patient’s needs, but why not use dissolving stents, as it is alway better where possible to not leave a metal stent behind. as the metal does not allow the artery to pulsate naturally. there are no studies on the affect of this on a patient during there life. also the stress on the metal stent can in rare case cause fracturing of the stent. stent procedures have become easier so why not re stent with another dissolving stent as required. we would agree open heart surgery bypass is better bcs no foreign matter left behind, but the open heart surgery is far to evasive and stressful on patient.?
