THANK YOU House of Valentina! 💋💋 I am following the coffee table tips, but with a 40" glass coffee table... Our family room currently has a taupe sofa set that I want to change to a white-ish sofa or sectional instead. BUT, then I see you guys have combined a white sofa with a black one, and now I'm SHOOK! 😆😆 The big dilemma is picking the RIGHT white sofa...one that's comfortable, and easy to keep clean. Appreciate the content! My bulky, heavy Beaumont by Hooker coffee table takes up a lot of visual space. I think that's why I asked for styling tips on an irregular-shaped surface; however, I can't make it take up less space...which likely means its days are numbered. Glad you shared affordable options! (I fell in love with my couch at a store that paired the coffee table with it. I realize now that I didn't take into consideration the fact that I have low ceilings, unlike the furniture store's soaring entry, where my sofa was featured on the day I first saw it. What looked chic and elegant in the store now really cramps my style. Live and learn!)

After watching your vidoes for so many months I have to say you have changed my entire outlook towards interior design. You have been so inspirational, I have learn't so much about interior design. I have tried to make my house look cohesive and tried to stick to your colour palatte. Shopped a lot more, but I think the upgrade was so necessary. And now a fall colour palatte!! I have rectangle coffee tables and round coffee tables because I have a huge living room. I recently put a round tray on the rectangle table and the rectangle tray on the round table and I love it! Tfs Valentina.

This is well timed, I've been trying to figure out what to do with my round coffee table (that was an Amazon recommendation of yours last year) and have been searching out ideas on KZfaq. All I've had is a decorative tray and part of the challenge is that I don't want to cover up the tray too much because it has an interesting design. But it needs company, the tray looks lonely sitting there by itself! 😄 So far I've added a vase with some branches that my cat thinks is a scratcher so this will help with more ideas on how to round it out.

Excellent video I feel like I learned so much!! I have the RH Verrazano coffee table in dark oak/brass, along with a Thaddeus console table behind sofa which is close to my dining area and kitchen. I have the hardest time styling this coffee table. My husband loves it. I’m just OK with it.

My question is, “what do I do when I have two reclining chairs in stead of a couch?” I had a coffee table and then we would have to push it forward to recline and the move it back, it just doesn’t seem to go..maybe a rug instead ? The next day I have decided to get 2 simple rectangular coffee tables and put them side by side to gain one big piece look I got on this video! Exactly the same furniture layout and exactly the same tables I was thinking about. I got a perfect visualisation 😊. About decorative pieces I learnt better to go bigger, because small pieces making the shelf/table/sideboard look clattered

Our colors are similar to yours. Except I love crystals. But it’s only in one spot. I’m not trying to be a Hobby Lobby! We have white couches, splitting the room with a back to back layout, with half for watching TV and the other half for the large sliding glass balcony door/window and small indoor garden. The window side has a small ottoman because it’s a love seat. It’s got a revolving arrangement of throws and it’s currently got a skull serving tray for Halloween. The main side is a black glass coffee table I’ve decorated with two multifaceted, oil slick crystal, lotus candleholders, with two white pillar holders, all holding tea lights. I keep the rest bare, because the arrangement is rather intense. But I love how it pops. The rest of the room is so neutral, I love the small focal point.

I don't get vases withbranches on coffee tables. They are in the way when you're talking with others or watching a TV. They are also in the way when walking between the couch and coffee table. Same with vases and branches on dining room 5ables and on kitchen counters. Can we all find something else lower and unobtrusive?

Valentina, what about end tables for your soft or chairs. How would you style those? I have a small end table next to each of the chairs in our living room and I dont know whether to move them or keep using them. I have a plant on one and some coasters on the other. I hate it HAHA
