Gorgeous!! One quick word of advice only put things in the home that you would be ok with someone taking or ruining. The antique books come to mind as an example of something you may want to consider removing. ❤

You have gone above and beyond to make this space elegant and inviting. I pray your guests appreciate the work that you’ve put into this space.

So nice to be in the Victorian!!! Some things needed that come to mind are….coffee maker, cooking pots/pans, utensils, disposable gloves (for those that clean while there), hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes/spray, emergency plan, pertinent phone numbers i.e. local restaurants, door dash etc., first aid kit, office supplies, and I’m sure you have these already but smoke detectors and carbon monoxide tester. Be sure all is in good working order.

I love the blue rug. It will not get as dirty,especially with renters. You are amazing! Your Victorian is beautiful!

Looks beautiful. Love the blue rug with the white furniture. Perfect. I’d skip the white one for your rental guests. Your family heirloom cookbooks are such a gift. So many of us would give anything to have some things from our grandparents. You have many beautiful and likely pretty expensive things in the home. As long as they’re replaceable, and you feel comfortable replacing them, no problem. you have definitely created a five-star experience for people. The one thing that I would remove if I were in your place would be your family heirloom cookbooks. Those are irreplaceable and will be great. Great gifts to hand down to your children as they mature. I have my grandmothers cookbook with all of her handwritten recipes and that is so precious to me. Give that some thought. Wishing you the best with all of your long-term rentals.

Suitcase caddy's are a great idea! I'd like a printout of the closet drugstore, grocery store & shopping center.😊

I love the blue rug. I agree about taking down the chairs. You have gone above and beyond with providing toiletries for guests. My two cents would be to put a shower stool/bench where you can set the shampoo and conditioner inside the showers. Congrats on the progress!

We do have a couple rental properties. It’s really important to remember that a lot of people do have allergies to scents. I know that you love them, but best to air on the side of minimalism as far as that goes.

A steamer/iron is often missed in air bnb’s. You’ve done a beautiful job stocking everything. More so than any I’ve stayed in!

Can I just say how amazing it is that you include a lot of real moments in all your videos? This video was the deodorant (hilarious!) or like the Barbie airplane in the pool in the summer decor video, or seeing you stop and say hi to your animals. It just helps your videos feel so great to watch!

As a mom with kids a foldable crib would be a plus!!

I've never had an Airbnb have that many amenities in it before but I've also never stayed anywhere for a month, so it makes sense why you would provide all of that. One of the things I loved about the Airbnbs that I stayed at in Italy was that they all had a bottle of Prosecco, drinks and other snacks there for us. Lake Como and Venice Airbnb's both did this so I'm not sure if its just an Italian thing, but it was a super nice welcome to kick off our stay in spots with fabulous views. Not everyone has time or energy to run to the market once they get somewhere, so its nice to just have a few things to get you by until you have the energy to go out or if you arrive late, until things open up. Since you are in Napa, maybe have a welcome bottle there for the people who partake? I also loved it when they gave us local recommendations of their favorite spots to visit, eat and drink. Things that only the locals know about that no hotel would ever think to tell you about. I'm sure that's what you're already working on with your house manual, but I always loved friendly tips from hosts on the best ways to experience their city.

Hi Lauren- When I prepared a similar VRBO in Alexander Valley for guests, we would stock the fridge/ pantry with staples using local products. Guests really love that. We would do coffee, milk, cheese, crackers, fruit basket ( local farm) olive oil, ect.etc.

We stayed at an air b&b that was built in the 1800s in Chesapeake City and it was absolutely beautiful. The thing that stood out the most to me, was that they had a journel that whoever stayed could write in- from love notes to their significant other, or their favorite memory from their trip, or just what they enjoyed about their stay etc... Just reading through the beautiful words in that journal was so awe-inspiring. Ps. Dont forget the wine opener/glasses 😉 Maybe even a complimently bottle of wine 🍷 P.s.s The chairs on the wall... super creepy and I personally would avoid that room due to that reason only. 😬😬😬

Per usual everything looks amazing. I say yes to removing the chairs off the wall and removing the 2 chairs from the Primary. bedroom. It will open up the spaces making them feel more light and airy. PS The blue rug was a hit. You needed the contrast that was a good decision.

I loved the music!🤗. I’m going to order the jewelry. Fabulous selections. House looks great. I used to be in property management and some of the ladies suggestions were right on. Especially take the advice concerning your antiques, and your beautiful framed pictures that you and your husband love. If you don’t already have a property manager, I would suggest that you get one. If not, you will run yourself ragged trying to keep the house up, supplied with what needs to be supplied and answering any calls regarding anything that needs to be repaired. Make a video and take inventory of your possessions. When your renters leave, have a cleaning service come in. That will take a lot off of you. ❤Sandy

You seem to have gone above and beyond what I have ever seen in a AirB&B or VRBO!! How kind of you to do that for your guests. But remember not everyone will have the good manners to only take what they would use, so be careful about over stocking everything. No matter how nice some people seem, there are lots that will take everything they can get away with. You are a joy to watch and the amount of energy, thought and love you put into all your family, home, holidays and even for guests is AMAZING ❤

One thing I've seen people do in an Airbnb is to put up photos in frames from the area. And since you're in wine country in Northern Cali I bet it would be beautiful to have photos/pics of different landmarks, etc. I know I love visiting an Airbnb and seeing local photos of events, landmarks, and history. We’ve stayed at air b&bs for many years in different locations. I don’t remember any of them leaving me so many wonderful things. In fact the last one we stayed didn’t even offer towels or bed sheets! I had to bring everything from home. Including king sheets when I didn’t have any. Very disappointing. Too much work for my own vacation. It’s worth it to me, as a renter, to pay a linen service. Let them do the work. I know your renters will love all the extras you’re offering. Yes, I also agree with another commenter, about renters not taking such good care of your things. (Including heirlooms) Don’t leave anything valuable there.

I love your Victorian so much and glad she’s getting new life! I’d have small sunscreen, chapsticks, gum, umbrellas, a small cooler or picnic basket for days out of the home, board games, poopouri spray by toilets, small bowls for keys or change, restaurant menus, flyers for local attractions, notepads for them to jot a note down, a fly swatter, and a fan in bedrooms. These are things the lake house we stay in have. It looks like you’ve got a lot of it covered.

It looks lovely, as always. Some other items to concider including: free and clear laundry detergent; other no scent or low scent cleaning and toiletry products. Extra charging cords/blocks. Coffee including decaf and tea also including decaf. Some games like apples to apples or just a deck of cards.

We stay in rental houses pretty much every time we travel. One thing that is always hit or miss is a fan in the bedroom. Lots of people sleep with a fan going for the sound and air combo. For the food, it is never stocked but they have a welcome basket in the kitchen with snacks and a couple bottles of water. Leaving menus for local restaurants and delivery places is always appreciated.

I like the blue rug a lot. I agree with the comment about the cookbooks. Also, you may want to inventory all your stuff..all of it. It looks so beautiful…great job. I wish I had your energy. ❤️

I have never had any of that staying in a VBRO, or a time share. You both are doing way more than needed. I never had slippers or house coats, they do supply the towels and dishes and some items in kitchen: bags, paper goods, spices, oils you are on your own when you get there to get the supplies that are needed. I prefer the blue rug it adds color to the room, it also goes with all the small touches of blue. I would not leave the cook books that are meaning full to you both. If they were mine I would not chance that they would not be taken. I know some of the places we have stayed had a book that you could write your experience of the area and the things you enjoyed while being there. Everything looks lovely and it feels very much like a high end place to stay.

The blue rug is perfect as is, just call that one less thing to do! Everything already looks gorgeous and so well-appointed ❤

If possible, try to keep the decor more simplistic and avoid the Knick-Knacks. You might want to remove any valuable artwork and any favorite decor items to avoid any possible mishaps. I love the blue rug, it gives your room warmth, everything looks amazing, I would leave a note that if they use any bathroom extras like tooth past, deodorant etc, to please take them with them so no body uses those already used by someone else. Love all your decorating ideas you are amazing!

.....Lauren, IF Master Bedroom is Upstairs, how about ADDING a small 1 Cup COFFEE MARKER and disposable coffee cups? ALSO..... tiny bathroom paper cups for rinising BrushingTeeth / Mouth Wash usage. Maybe also a Magnify Mirror, Tweezers, Shower Caps, Bathroom Room Spray Freshener and Lavender Linen Spray (on night stand) ....think you got it covered after adding these & and a FIRST AID KIT as well as a FIRE EXTINGUISHER in the Kitchen. The Victorian house as usual..... is charming!

Very pretty. I would agree with many to minimize the decor. It's a lot to inventory and a lot of risk for things you love. I know your maximalist heart wants more but less is more here. I agree with removing the chairs. When furniture blocks doors it blocks energy. It can feel uncomfortable. Super beautiful as always.

Do you have a travel cot and high chair, car seat for babies who may stay, toilet step and baby bath? (Ikea) maybe a set of plastic plates bowls beakers for kids which would save on breakages. An ironing board and iron. A sweeping brush and cheap hoover. I would purchase shampoo/conditioner/ bodywash dispencers for the showers as these can be filled easily and locked, guests will take all the toiletries. They are not too expensive from amazon. Same with handwash and handcream! Saves on wastage too.
