Another idea is to have a guest book so that renters can tell you what they did (always fun to see your area through others eyes). You may already have this but a binder with ideas of what to do and places to eat etc. along with any businesses that might want to give a discount to your renters. I remember the first time I rented I had to think as if I had NEVER been to the town, city.

I would include a pre-stamped postcard, cute stationary, etc. from a local artist/photographer/shop with a cute pen so they can send a note home. Also a small local seasonal treat (a slice of pumpkin bread, pretzels dipped in white choc w red sprinkles for Xmas, etc.), and list of local vendors/sights including ones that might not be easily identifiable on "Main Street" but would make their stay memorable.

Including the mirrors in the rooms is a great idea. I've stayed at several B&B's that didn't have mirrors in the rooms although there was space for it. One more thing that I always appreciate while staying at a B&B is a little trinket dish for holding jewelry that I remove at bedtime. Your Stone Cottage is beautiful!

LOVVVVE how you did the stone cottage! As someone who has NEVER been to Tulsa, I would lovvvvve to have a little "fun things to do here, places to eat" guide! Saves time and effort of having to look through yelp and some things are just not available! Locals know the BEST spots for things!

The cottage looks amazing! So beautiful, cozy and comfortable. When I stay at an AirBnB I'm so happy when the host/hostess leaves plenty of coffee pods (regular and decaf) with the coffee maker along with liquid creamers (not powdered). That alone would make me very happy! I like an easy no fuss coffee maker - not a french press etc. It would also be nice if there was some bottled water since I wouldn't want to drink tap water and maybe that first night I wouldn't have time to find a store to buy some. I've stayed places where they left a loaf of banana bread from a local bakery which was nice and if local businesses want to give you $5 or $10 gift cards to leave for your guests that is nice but often people are in town for a wedding or certain event and don't have time to explore the local area so much. You want to make it easy for yourself and not too costly. I hope we get a chance to visit Tulsa so we can stay at your cottage! 😊

When we rented our cape cod house we always left a bottle of wine (would be great if it was local but I went with a cute name of the wine that related to the area like Seaglass) and some Cape cod chips and something for the kids, maybe bubbles or chalk) so that as the parents were unpacking the kids had something to play with.

I think that you should have a guest book for everyone to sign, and I think you should have a welcome basket that has business cards of different businesses in Tulsa, and neighboring towns & cities. I think that you should have a monthly calendar of events in Tulsa and neighboring towns & cities.

A list of good restaurants in all price ranges, including diners for breakfast would be helpful. Nearest drug store, nearest walmart, movie theatre's etc. The coffee bar is huge for me.

I think one of a kind made in Oklahoma items would be nice for the cottage. Theres a Made in Oklahoma store in Tulsa in the shopping center at 41st and Sheridan (across from Ricardo’s). Reasors grocery stores carry some made in OK food items. The creamed honey is amazing!!!

I know I am sending lots of comments but everything you say reminds me of what i did. In each bedroom I have a place to hang wet towels. Another idea (not mine but my sister in law's) is to have towels that are embroidered with a number and then each person knows which towel is theirs. I have full length mirrors in each bedroom along with small mirrors for putting on makeup. You have to think about the fact that many people are in the house together and may not be used to living together so they might need to do lots of things in their bedroom like hair and makeup.

Your cottage looks beautiful! when we stay in an Air B&B we love a list of favorite restaurants, coffee shops and cute little shops near us also an empty cabinet in the kitchen for our food and bathroom for our products.

I have a window in my master bedroom on the east side of the house, both doors are on the west side. I've always heard don't put your feet facing the doors :-| So currently it just currently lays from north to south
