Decorating my Cozy English Cottage Breakfast Room for Christmas with Thrifted Vintage Holiday Decor!

A cozy, slow and peaceful Christmas decorating video using thrifted vintage Christmas decor. I am keeping our historic home's breakfast room simple this Christmas with lots of cedar wreaths hanging in the windows and on an antique hutch. I'm also pulling out all of my thrifted vintage Shiny Bright ornaments and featuring them throughout the room. The only thing missing is a gumdrop tree! We had one when we were kids! The pretty gum drops on the tree shiny from the sugar! We got to eat a couple each day! I loved adding mor gumdrops each day! Your house is so pretty! I love all your special touches!

This video is the perfect way for me to wake up to this morning. I’m a carer in a retirement home and I need something soothing and calm to wake up to since I know I’m going to have a demanding day. What a nice calming sit-down after a morning filled with cat drama. Seems we both survived the excitement. I keep telling him how old I am - doesn’t seem to care at all. The gingerbread room is just so adorable. It has that Mrs. Claus’ North Pole / Gingerbread Bakery vibe going, and I love it. So fun whether you’re 5 years old or 55 years! Do your kids help decorate, or is it something you just enjoy doing yourself? Mine are all grown with homes of their own, but they used to help. Now I leave some of the decorating for my grands

Would you consider talking to the audience as you do things? I watch other vloggers who talk to the camera. I don’t enjoy just watching to music, or narrative type. Don’t get me wrong, it isn’t a criticism, but I can’t get into your vlogs despite the stunning visuals. I want to stay subscribed. I also like to “rewatch” meaning listen to the vlogs as I go about my chores. If I only hear music, then that’s all I get from it and no connection to you as a vlogger. I don’t mean to make this about me. It’s the only way I can explain.
