Today we're going to be decorating my kitchen for Christmas 2022! We'll be putting up another Christmas tree, setting up a hot cocoa bar, and popping in tons more decor around the kitchen! So going me today for my Christmas decorate with me 2022 part 2!

Next time you could try using the really huge command hooks to help hold up your garland on the top of the cabinets. You can use ribbon, twist ties, zip ties, or floral wire to attach to the command hooks to be extra safe. I have some really heavy garland that I used on my fireplace the last two years and that’s the only way it worked for me without a hammer and nails. You can use the command hooks like “cup hooks” on the top of the cabinets.

I ended up adding the bows to a few other areas in my apartment so I can still enjoy them, but it doesn't feel so busy in the kitchen!

Yeah I’m glad you took the bows down. I was thinking wow! That’s a little overkill! However, you have done a wonderful job decorating. I’m at the other end of the spectrum by having very little Xmas decor. You have inspired me to step up my game!

I'm leaning towards leaving them plain this year! I might end up adding a wreath above the microwave in the future though! I'm always coming up with ideas for the following year, once I get the decor up and live with it for a season it helps me determine what I love and what needs some adjusting for the following year!

I definitely like it more without the bows! It was far too busy with the bows up there! I'm currently debating between putting the sign back the first way I had it, and putting it above the sink as a few others have suggested!

The bows look cute but yes it had the kitchen looking too busy and it was taking away from the beauty of the garland decorations. Cause above cabinets with the garland was fully decorated so beautifully it didn't needed anything extra . If above was decorated settled then but how above is loud and gorgeous, the bow is not needed . Kitchen looked fabulous 😍😍😍

The gingerbread sign would look good over the sink if it fits the area. It came out real cute, that garland must of been so difficult to keep it from falling....! I have found that pipe cleaners really help to attach ornaments and just about anything that needs to be hooked together. Some people use zip ties also. ❤️ how you decorated the kitchen and ❤️ the snow gingerbread house and snowman lantern!

Great idea!! I might have to try putting it up there! The garland was definitely a struggle! I ended up putting small nails up there and using pliers to curve them and make a hook shape and that work great! So happy you enjoyed the decor 💗

Command hooks set flat on the top of the cabinets ( or mantel) to catch your garland at strategic places are a godsend!

I love the bows, I would keep them and change out the kitchen towels to either a solid red, or maybe a solid red towel and a candy stripped one. I'm thinking about adding bows to my kitchen,also doing a gingerbread theme!!!! GOD Bless,and thanks for sharing your home with us.

I used some of the bows in other areas so I can enjoy them but the kitchen feels less busy! I love the hand towel suggestion, they will be switched out several times throughout the season as I have tons of towels! So happy you enjoyed watching 💗

Everything turned out AMAZING!! Love the gingerbread theme. I think the gingerbread sign would look the best over your sink, or the first way you had it in the corner. Truthfully, you should do it whatever way brings you joy, because it looks so good.

I think to did an AMAZING job one again!! I think the gingerbread sign would look really cute over your sink area... just a thought! As for the bows on your cabinets, I think they're really cute! Maybe just do ever other cabinet! Or, do the mini wreaths like you added to your three tiered tray with just a small red ribbon to hang them. Have a sweet Sunday!

Hi! Loved the gingerbread theme. I am now thinking I would really like to get the pencil tree like yours in the dining room. The garland above cabinets are something I struggled with also until I put command hooks and then I just attached the garland to the hooks. I definitely recommend getting the pencil tree, I have been loving it so much! As for the garland, I think the nails I put up there are a good solution for now, but if they stop work I will 100% get some command hooks!

Hi Sarah, Everything looks cozy & festive...I think 1 bow above the microwave somewhat highlights the JOY above...Then put 1 on the back of each chair in your dining area to tie it all together...Happy🦃Thanksgiving & Merry🎄Christmas to you and your dear ones~❤

Thank you so much for the bow suggestion! I've considered doing just on bow above the microwave, however that is the #1 I've always struggled to keep up "with steam from cooking" so that is the only thing holding me back right now!

You can hang the gingerbread sign above the faucet with Velcro command strips 😉

I love how your kitchen turned out!! I would just stick with the garland above the cabinets and no bows on cabinets. I do like the little bow above the microwave though!!

The bows definitely took away from the decor above the cabinets, but I think they would look cute on the back of the dining chairs or the front of the white cabinet under the island.

I liked the Gingerbread sign and snow globe the first way you had it in the corner. Also I think the small striped bows are cute so if you took all of the long ones down and kept the short ones so it was every other door instead of every o e it would be so pretty.

I'm currently trying to decide between putting the gingerbread sign the first way I had it, and possibly putting it above the sink! As for the bows that's a good idea too! I'm leaning towards leaving them off completely, it draws your eye more to the garland without the bows and I really like that!

Sweetheart if those garlands keep falling i got a solution for y tested by me last year-i put sea peebles (generaly some clean big stones), and i press the garland from behind! NO THUNDER can move it till festing season is over lol. Regards from Greece

Thank you for the suggestion! I put some nails up on top of the cabinets, and used pliers to curve them and hook them around the garland, so far so good!!! :)

Your kitchen looks very sweet! The pencil Gingy Theme tree is EVERYTHING! And, your garland with the red and white picks and lights is a ShowStopper. So, yes, leave the bows off .You really don't need them. As for your Gingy and Co sign, you have empty space on the wall above your sink, so try it there. Get a Command hook and you should be good. Oh and I just subbed to your channel and I want to bless you by saying, I pray your channel is a huge Success for years to come! God Bless...
