I hate modern home decor, so today I am decorating my new house's bathroom to look old and antique like a grandma. I am weird, I know.
So here is a week in my life doing a DIY transformation on my bathroom - full granny style lol

I love how Amber makes all the people working on her house feel so welcome and happy. Like she just sits there and keeps them company and talks with them while they work. She just has such a bubbly and positive attitude. I love you Amberrrr !!❤

This is crazy, that is my exact wallpaper in my room from my childhood home. I think we papered my room in 1988. That's crazy. I think it's so funny how many people are going "old school" on redecorating. I love seeing fads come and go. Love your content. Watching since the beginning. Something I do with my toilet paper that makes it look so elegant is I fold the front piece into a triangle then turn the facet on and off really quick, let it drip a little so it’s not too wet, then stamp the toilet paper at the end he of the triangle. Then you can even use it as Decor and it just looks so elegant and pretty especially in guest bedrooms.

Love you ❤ and your style I have held off saying this for so long but can I say ( and as an interior designer I think you won’t mind) 🙏🏼 ❤ Pls pls pls can you get your curtains inter lined . I have worked for The Royals , and in beautiful stately homes, castles etc also worked with French sewers etc . The look your going for They need thick lining /blanket lining so that they give the full and chic look . I think you would love it more and it makes your windows look a million times more expensive ❤

Hey Amber! I just absolutely love your apartment, and for me it’s very inspiring. Through the video I actually thought of some ideas you can add! 1st is porcelain figures. I think they would look so cute and fit to your apartment so well. 2nd is adding a painting in the bathroom wall, and 3rd is adding some vintage magazines near the Bidet just for the aesthetics xx 💕

I actually Gasped when you revealed the mirror tape work you did. One of my sons walked in to see if I was ok, & I showed him what you did, & the switch plates in both rooms & the French Chandelier. 😮 Ohhhh no. Now it's just like any other chandelier. The colour was what made it so unique, made it pop. I would have changed out the blue for a pink or another colour that matched your wall paper like amber coloured crystals..😊👍🏻😬. Warmer light globe would have made it more aesthetic too.

She can lock the main door where the sink, tub/jacuzzi, etc are just before it if she needs "locked door" privacy. It's her own bedroom and bathroom so I doubt anyone would come in uninvited anyways

PIPES: I covered mine with tubes of material all scrunched up like they do on chandelier chains - which it not hard sewing just a single straight line - you make them twice as long as the pipe and scrunch it up when you put it on. I used a silk that matched my the drapes and the chandelier chain cover.

Chandelier cord covers will hide the plumbing pipes. They are usually to cover electrical cords, but they are velcro and can be multipurpose. Many colors available and washable!
