Josie, I haven't commented often but I just wanted to say your intro was so beautiful it made me so emotional, it really surprised me how much...I literally cried. I'm not sure if you know how much joy your vlogmas brings (and just your daily vlogs in general). It's always been my dream to live in an old country home with a kitchen garden, but chronic illness has really put living out that dream on hold-- so just seeing you document your journey towards a similar dream has brought a lot of vicarious joy. I think that's why your vlogmas intro made me so emotional, because it's inspired and reminded me to keep pushing forward...keep fighting for that dream. It's funny how something so small like that can make a world of difference. ✨

Charlie is my spirit animal. Like myself, he loves odd facts. In addition, he suffers from POPD aka as Perfect Ornament Placement Disorder. It takes me days to decorate our trees. Just picture last evening we had to reposition one of them already fully decorated in its base. My back is shot holding a very heavy real tree in place. Finally, hope you are enjoying Tennessee. One of my girlfriends moved from Southern California to Franklin last year. She and her husband love it there

Why in the world would anyone want an electric Defender? They're supposed to be for country and off road driving. Not a lot of plug ins around. Plus, I think they take something like 4 days to fully charge.

Charlie is not being pedantic with hanging the decorations. I too continually adjust my decorations almost every time I walk through or sit in the living room. I just love my tree. It’s only the second one I’ve ever bought and it’s 9 foot tall 🎄Needless to say my favourite time of year, especially now I have grandchildren. Each member of my family has an individual bauble with their name which I hang from a garland across an opening ❤

Hi Just to let you know, you turn up the tip of the Christmas tree branch a little to hold onto your glass decorations. All branches should be pointing up slightly like a real tree, just like a real tree outside, stretching for the light. This is what Balsamhill recommends. Was just looking as some of your old videos, enjoying them all.

I have a Lumie alarm clock for years now, I just love it. I also use it at night; the light starts full strenght then dims down during 15 min. You can time it as you wish.

Out of all the vloggers I watch only yr vlogs without missing or skipping any and am intuitively looking up at clock at 5pm regardless what I do around that time. Your intro and this vlog is most spontaneous xmasy loving and unpretentious vlog. I love that you are you and are so genuine and "made of lovely stuff". Charlie and you in the intro of the vlog is soo nice to see as clearly you are a great happy go lucky relaxed genuine couple, loving each other very much.
