It just amazes me how much tenacity and stamina you have. Just after years of decorating I got burned out, not to mention you have to do filming. You're an everready bunny.

I absolutely love this, so elegant. Due to arthritis in my hands, my son made me a little device that has 2 dowels close together on one end and one dowel on the other to hold the ribbon spool. The two dowels takes the place of having to hold the bow. He saw it somewhere and made it for me. It's so convenient.

I agree with your vision for this space. Elegance, pure and simple.

Absolutely love the traditional Christmas look, I don't have red in my house decor, so for Christmas I go for it! Lots of green, red and pops of gold, the house feels so cosy and festive...LOVE IT! I can't believe you never added garland to the balcony Laura, it looks amazing! Hope it becomes a repeat every year. ❤️❤️

daughter gave me her "old" garlands and wreath set which was beautiful. of course i couldn't resist adding to them! have beefed them and my old ones up so that they are now all blendy and realllly nice IMHO, of course!!! i love christmas decorations!!!

Gorgeous taste as usual with you! Am elderly. Decades ago was able to purchase some seven or eight very large artificial wreaths along with 3 truly huge artificial wreaths, all truly wonderful quality and very realistic. Have been using them for decades now on my windows and doors. As you have done, the bow color is uniform on all. Some years have chosen a different color for the bows. Some few years have dressed up the wreaths on the doors with a few ornaments the same color as the bows for that year. Decades now with the same wreaths and treatment, and wow; how wonderfully inexpensive and time saving it has been for me to decorate. Also presents the advantage of occasionally buying new ribbon at half price after Christmas if I want a different color for the bows next year. Love high quality velvet. Am going to look for it for sale and sew long tubes inside out and then turn them right side out to make next year's bows. Would likely never have justified the expense of high quality plush velvet had I not purchased the artificial wreaths decades ago. Also purchased an 11 foot high quality artificial tree then, as well. Combined, with the wreaths, this has saved me from spending thousands and given me understated elegance all these years, regardless of decorating fads from year to year. My house is way smaller than yours, though the simplicity seems just as elegant to me on my small home.

So Lovely and classic are red bows and greenery, especially on a white house! 😍 I did this for years with warm white lit garland and spotlights on house and it was beautiful! For storage, I hung wreaths with bows and the extra bows I wired on different sides of an open plastic crate box and hung on a large hook in storage room and they lasted for 20 years. I think I never tired of them outside because they were classic. As always, thank you for taking us along! I think your topiary pots look great as they are next to your other garland and wreaths. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I am in the south and this is what we do. If it were me I would pop a little red in the window boxes. Either a couple of bows or red berries, but it is beautiful just the way it is. Also, if you have a problem with the wind blowing your wreaths around you can attach them with a command hook so the ribbon that they are hanging by is just for looks. That is what I have to do with my door so it doesn't go flying every time we open and close the door. I so look forward to seeing you decorate . Thank you for sharing! Everything is looking festive, it’s lovely. My feedback on the red bows at the planters is nahhhh. I think it looks great the way they are. Just wondering if it would be too much and take away from the classic look? A thought popped up regarding the urns that had the purple kale. What about green moss surrounding the Christmas tree??? What are your thoughts and feeling regarding that look? No matter what you decide to do you will always put your heart and soul into it. Thanks for being an amazing person!! That little center loop in the premade bow... Cut one end of the loop down inside the center (leave a little so it stays attached), wiggle the long side down to create a third tail. 😍
