I’ve watched since before you and Alfie were officially together. I can remember Jim Chapman accidentally showing a laptop screen of you and Alfie and my little teenage brain exploded. I’ve been here ever since (I’m now 25 and have my own child) - you’ve been a huge comfort to me over these years and while we don’t personally know each other I have loved growing along side you and Alfie all these years.

I was the mom who made my kids costume for them every year until they said they didn’t want me to. My grand daughter is a month younger than Ottie. I am making her costume this year. She will be Wednesday Addams & her mom will be Morticia Addams. The pleasure of seeing them out weighed the stress of it all.

Cannot believe it’s been that long! I’ve been watching you since before Alfie!! Back in 2010 probably… insane watching all the people come and go in your vlogs since then and see the shift from vlogging with friends to vlogging more and more with family. For my 2 year olds costume, I’ve cut up strips of an old muslin, tea stained them and used a glue gun to stick the strips onto some of his rough old play clothes to make a mummy costume! It looks soooo good I’m so proud of myself (thanks Pinterest haha!) xx

My mom made every single costume of mine as I was growing up. The best one was the full butterfly. She constructed and painted the wings completely from scratch out of wire and fabric! An easy one to do without sewing though is a skeleton. You can paint the bones with fabric paint onto a black long sleeve and black leggings! So cute

We did mouse in mouse trap when our daughter was 1. Just dressed her in a grey bodysuit pinned pink felt to her stomach and then added ear headband. With pink tights. Then my husband made the “trap” to sit over her wagon. We just took a piece of wood, cut out the hole for her, painted the top and added shower curtain rings to the center as the spring. Then I dressed as a cat and my husband wore an Exterminator tshirt. So fun!

When my son was 1 year old, I dressed him up as a lion and I dressed up as a zoo keeper. I loved doing theme costumes when he was little. I decorated his wagon as a pirate ship bc I knew he wouldn't walk very long. He was a pirate captain and I was his first mate.
