With the Adjustable Tape Guide, ribbon, tape, elastic or lace can be easily and precisely sewn along a fabric edge with overlock or combo stitch or onto a fabric with chainstitch or coverstitch.
The Upper Accessories Holder serves to temporarily attach accessories that fit above the presser foot area, for example the Adjustable Tape Guide.
The Adjustable Tape Guide accommodates tapes from 10 to 60 mm width. The tape is guided onto the fabric and sewn on with precision. Sew decorative finishes or embellishments with woven or knit tapes on home textiles or projects, depending on the type of material and quality. In this video we show an example with Ribbon on a pillowcase.
Once attached, the Upper accessories Holder can remain fitted in place without affecting the performance of the machine in other functions.
The Adjustable Tape Guide and the Upper Accessories Holder are compatible with all models of the BERNINA L 8 series overlockers / sergers.
