Just a couple of hours in the pop up hide, trying out the magpie decoys from nite hawk, they definitely work that's for sure.. Just forgot the SD card for the scope 😒

Using a Sub 12 Daystate .177 Red Wolf Safari, JSB Knockout 4.52 slugs, ATN 4K Pro scope with ABL 1000 laser range finder. Shooting off a saddle and shooting stick.

This is a great vid and I've subscribed to your channel. I've used these decoys too and had some success with them but kinda got the feeling that the magpies were clocking quite quickly that they weren't real. I had an idea and after looking on a well known auction site found and purchased some stuffed magpies that a taxidermist had done and went about making stands for them. They've worked really well, if there's a breeze then the feathers move which adds some authenticity to them and they have the glint in the eye so to speak. I've also done the same with a stuffed sparrowhawk which can get them quite excited too. Thank you for sharing the vid, I really enjoyed it.

Open a rabbit up in front of the decoys or you could have one or two broken eggs. This will simulate a feeding scenario and maybe tempt a few more in

Those nite hawk decoys certainly do work...I bought some and loft them in to trees,bushes etc as well as putting them on fences and on the ground..Anybody who has never tried them,treat yourselves 😉
