Whenever an elder dies, a library burns down. People listen, remember your elderly, they lived a long life, full of wisdom. Take notes of your parents write down their life story, and let it be told to the younger generation, to appreciate and learn from. Or else they will be forgotten to oblivion, what greater way to respect your mom/dad, to never be forgotten in stories

I Miss and Love my Grandfather so much what I wouldn’t do to have him back with me . He was My was FATHER and the only FATHER besides The Almighty Lord Jesus Christ (yes my biological father was around, but was not a real man. It was not responsible at all ) we did everything Together. He showed and taught me so much . My birthday is in April and so is his. I can’t even finish this without breaking down and crying . Shit still hurts like it was yesterday I can’t

This was beautiful, definitely made me shed some tears. Your family is beautiful. My grandpa passed after Christmas in 2020. There’s so much more I wish I had asked him while he was here. The last words I told him were I love you and I’ll see you again soon. Soon can’t come quick enough now that he’s gone from this earth. I know I’ll see him in heaven again one day. He was always so proud of me and I never felt like I had to earn it. All he wanted was for me to know, live for, and love Christ. That’s what I’m doing 🤍
