For those still having this problem in 2024. Remove the 8x screws on the bottom plate to reveal a whole lot more dust underneath . Gave that a quick dust and within a minute the wheel which wasnt rotating as smooth was as good as gold. Hope this helps

Fixed !!! Read a few comments about the length of the side brushes, we did replace ours recently. I trimmed them down a little 1/8 to 1/4 of and inch and it solved the problem (same problem as the video).

I have this issue with my T5. I can feel a difference in resistance on my robot. I also believe we can see in the video there is an increased resistance or possibly to say a decrease rate of spin due to resistance of maybe hair or dust. I am not sure how to get at the gears or insides as mine is pretty sealed up. Probably to prevent hair and dust to get into said area. I bet it requires some disassembly.

I'm having this same issue with our robot vacuum. It's brand new and going over a relatively clean flooring with no obstacles, yet very few minutes it stops due to this error. Think I'll have to send it back

Mine just did it now so I dropped on the ground from around an inch off the floor seems to have fixed the problem

I have the same problem! When I touch the wheels and play with them they seem fine (they don’t feel stuck in any way) but my Deebot stops and marks error (something is supposedly stuck in there). How did you solve it? Thank you.

I too have the same problem, driving wheel malfunction, apparently there is no hairs of anything around the wheels.

My experience is that the whisker brushes are too long and they catch under the driving wheels, especially on aftermarket parts. Cutting them way down so that they don’t catch under the wheels seems to solve my problem. Hope this helps

@@seckinabbas197 I know right! If the whiskers are long enough to go under the wheels, they will. And it causes this problem. Glad these folks aren’t designing airliners.

Had the same problem. Check the wheel drive revolution sensor wires. One had broken on my L wheel drive, after I had replaced the R wheel drive with no change to Deebot's erratic motion and 'check wheel drive' error. Resoldered broken wire and this fixed my problem. Hope this helps someone.

I've the "Omni" I think it's T9+. Same issue. This looks like a deliberate firmware "bug" to me. If you switch it off and on, it will work fine again. If you do not do a hard power off you will have a permanent "block" on one motor. It simulates a bad wheel, but it's pure software that blocks it.

Should also add that I took off the side brushes and ran it to see if that was what was causing the error. It's still happening.

There was a baby wipe lodged under one of my wheels. I had to pry it out with a screwdriver 😂😂😂 hope that helps someone
