@@martinodendaal1703 Some of it, no doubt, is long travel with kids. Drive coast to coast, and you will be shocked the state of a car by the end. Budgeting in making it someone else's problem is a wise call, after 10 hours a day locked in a car with a family, the car deserves a break!

Not really the same. It legit takes 30 seconds to clean your table down at a restaurant. It takes Mitch like 10 hrs+ to do a perfect detail. But I do think that people should at the very least take all the rubbish out of their car.

I literally always clean my table before I leave a restaurant and I always clean my car a bit before I take it to a retailer cus I would be so embarresed just giving someone a huge mess

@@dancharles5701 Im the same way- working 4 years in the food industry really puts you in the perspectives once you go into another restaurant. I am in a family of 15 and when we dine out, our mother has the kids stack their stuff and I will literally organize everything into the basic stacks of what's washed together- plates and bowls in their own stacks, with silverware in the cups, and the drinks condensed as best as possible, while stacking the glasses- all in a span of 5 minutes. Idgaf if they are paid to do it or not, they need to have the spot available for the next family who comes in. Top of that- I was also a dishwasher, and the busers had little to no respect- would just leave buckets of unorganized dishes. Would take 10 minutes to do a minute and a half of work as we'd have to sort everything. So yes, keep doing that my man.

The tools and techniques you use are easy enough to use by anyone who is serious about detailing ...The choice of tools and equipment you use are reasonably priced and work well. Too many other detailers use such high end equipment that most can't afford and the end results are similar...Keep up the good work

Detail Geek, what do you use for leather seats? I'm sure you can't just saturate and power steam them. Do you just get them good with leather cleaner and conditioner?

Mitch, I appreciate some things I've noticed about your habits: one is that you're so conscientious about cleanliness, you take your shoes off inside your own garage once the floor is clean and dry (usually seen in the outro); another is that your entire garage is so clean, it really could serve as an overflow party area, perhaps, or for a larger gathering. However you've set your goals, whoever raised you to be so aware of your environment, someone did an excellent job, and I do hope it's a "forever" attitude for you. I don't want to know anything more about you than what you post online---I'm old enough to be your mother, and then some---but am just acknowledging that somewhere along the line, a lot of good work has been done, and you're continuing it to the Nth degree. You are a man who would make any mother (and father) very proud of what her son has grown up to be.

You do an understanding job detailing these cars . My brother detained cars for a living for many years before he passed in May of 2017 . He used to get onto my mother for having a dirty car or even trash in the floor board .

in the us apparently they want names for cars. apparently numbers are only good in German cars XD. They seem to see the rest as low quality i guess ?
