DEEP CLEANING & DECLUTTERING MY VANITY watch this for motivation
as some of you already know at this point, i am moving out of my parents house and into my first big girl apartment next month. although i'm soooo excited, i'm also feeling a little stressed because we have A LOT to do... the first thing i really want to focus on is decluttering and getting rid of things that no longer serve me. in todays video we starting that journey off by going though my vanity (all of my skincare and makeup) and throwing all of my old, expired, and unused products out and organizing my remaning products.

I really appreciated your advice about having a smaller makeup collection and using all your products before buying new ones because I've always had a small makeup collection and I have always wanted a huge makeup collection, so this makes me feel a lot better about having a smaller collection! It's so true that makeup only lasts so long and I definitely have products that I've had for years that I should probably get rid of. Thanks Bailey!

For the eyeshadow palettes you could start doing different makeup looks with them that’s what I do with my eyeshadows or I’ll mix them and make new colors

When you move are you going to put each drawer in its own box like not the actual drawer but how you have it all separate will they have their own box dedicated to the stuff in that drawer

When it comes to makeup products….technically you can still use them a bit after their expiration date as long as you keep them as clean as possible, and store them properly within their packages.

You really can't tell if something is 'expired' from the separation of the product in the bottle. I think when people say 'separation' they usually mean that different ingredients have separated out. I have brand new foundations, that I haven't opened yet, that do that just because they are laying down in the drawer for a week...

eye shadow is so hard because i have a big big pallit with a bajillion different colors, but i only use one. i wish i could get rid of the ugly colors without getting rid of the good ones in the pallit
