I am very unsure about certain aspects here. Are the insides of the doors, etc. going to dry before they rust? Is the mold inside the cushions? Is the estimated rest value of the car high enough to make a thorough cleaning operation economically viable?

I deep cleaned a moldy car once myself. I had an extra good respiratory mask on but I could feel my skin itching. I used gallons of mold remover but the smell never went fully away. I just sold it and that's probably the best decision

Hey, idk if rats are carriers, but certain species of mice carry a seriously deadly virus called hantavirus that can become airborne in small, localized areas when urine and feces are disturbed or stirred up. Please be careful when dealing with rodent droppings! Love the vids, wishing you many good returns in your endeavors.

These cars are actual biohazards..they are useless to detail. Mold spores will be everywhere that you cant clean unless you literally take the car apart piece by piece..they will be imbedded into plastics, fabrics, possibly leather, behind the dash, AC system, etc..

I'd personally never continue using a car that got that bad, even after a cleaning, unless the entire interior was stripped and replaced. Breathing mold spores can cause allergies, asthma and in worst case cancer. With porous materials like fabric or mattress etc. you can never guarantee all traces of mold have been cleaned off (not without penetrating boiling temperatures or strong chemicals) and they could stay hazardous for years and even relapse. So yeah, I'd say cleaning a car like that is a bad investment, for your health. And like everyone else says; you should wear a respirator.
