For deep meditation and ascension experience. Finally, I have found my sound. I would not recommend listening to the track while driving.
Om is considered the monarch of all mantras. All bījamantras and mantras originate from it. It prefixes some mantras. It is representative of the Supreme God Principle (Parabrahman). The energy associated with Om is of the unmanifest (nirguṇ) God principle. The unmanifest energy of God is the same energy used to create the entire manifest (saguṇ) Universe. As a result, a lot of energy is generated when one chants Om. It is a syllable that stands for absolute. It refers to Atman (soul, self within) and Brahman (ultimate reality, the entirety of the universe, truth, divine, supreme spirit, cosmic principles, knowledge).
The Om sound is the primordial sound, the sound that reverberates in the entire universe and is called the Shabda-Brahman (Brahman as sound). In Hinduism, Om is one of the most important spiritual sounds.
The Patanjali states that Om mantra should be chanted keeping and understanding its meaning and importance. It is important to sit in a comfortable and quiet place in a cross-legged seated posture with the spine upright, head, neck and spine in a vertical alignment.
Try to feel the vibration of the sound build in the naval area and travelling upwards. As you continue to chant the vibration should move towards the base of the throat and once it reaches the throat it should be converted into a deep humming sound of M. Try to feel the vibration till it reaches the crown of the head called the sahasrara chakra.
Mantras hold within them the latent forms of the universe and by practising mantra we can drive our awareness deeper into the bones muscles, the tissue of the body and thus gain greater sensitivity and understanding and amplify the energies that are latent within us.
The purpose is well stated in the Upanishads: “What world does he who meditates on Aum until the end of his life, win by That? If he meditates on the Supreme Being with the syllable Aum, he becomes one with the Light, he is led to the world of Brahman [the Absolute Being] Who is higher than the highest life, That which is tranquil, unaging, immortal, fearless, and supreme.” - Prashna Upanishad 5:1, 5, 7
