I remember playing through this level back when I was like 10 trying to get the air necklace and failing so hard. Though what really stuck with me not just from that time but also from SA2 in general is the badass soundtrack. While I'm used to the vocals for them, the melodies are hype as all hell. I wrote you a few years ago, asking if I could write lyrics to your songs, to which you agreed, but which I had very little courage to do, until now. The lyrics more or less match that "xylophone-like" instrumentation I hear throughout the song, but there are areas of improvisation and syllabic manipulation that I had in mind to fit some parts of the lyrics together. Anyway, thank you again for allowing me to do this (which, in many ways, is more a symbol of my ability to go for goals I have than it is just about the song itself). Anyway, the lyrics are as follows, and the title is "Someone's Jouney". [Lyrics start at 0:21, to the sound of what sounds to me like something xylophonic] Yeah, I'll point out it somewhere, the smiles I know some wear, They remind me of that light I saw in someone... Whose eyes glowed like bright skies, whose sighs made mist of ice, that surrounded a heart enticed that belongs to someone... Who, if they could cross the blue of heaven, oceans too, they'd follow the voice of that someone... What i like about this remix is it feels unique in its way while keeping the SA2 original base. This version feels like what Aquatic Mine would sound like from Classic Sonic's POV, a la Tidal Tempest or Rusty Ruins Act1 instead of KTE Hip-Hop's version, which i prefer, But this remix is perfectly done.
