For me this is more like a symbolic performance. We all love the classic rock bands that our fathers grew up listening to and showed us at some point. We also respect the age and what they did for rock, this is basically an ancient form of metal and we are grateful for it. Besides IAN PAICE is a FREAKIN BEAST ON THE DRUMS. Long live rock and roll, hopefully this guys will live on through these songs from generation to generation

Glover is still so f-ing cool! Anyone who bashes Gillan at his age should be ashamed. Most of us could probably not walk upstairs without being out if breath, let alone under hot lights singing on a stage! Take a listen to the 1969 Concerto for Group and Orchestra. Enough said. The man is legendary. It's a privilege to hear him sing. Paul Rodgers and Daltrey would fall in that category as well. Can't imagine my youth without some bad ass Deep Purple!
