People born in the 60s and 70s are the most luckiest to have grown up listening to the most amazing rock music ever.... Deep purple, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Lynyard Skynyrd, Kiss... just to name a few.... I'm truly blessed.. each time I listen I am taken back to my school days... best days ever...

Oh god I love hearing Lord's infectious keyboard. You never realize how crucial keyboard is in metal or rock music until you listen to a song without it. Obviously a song that normally has keyboard. Deep Purple wouldn't sound the same without Lord's playing. We need more metal keyboard players.

And when they got to the prison they got beat up by the prisoners for disliking Deep Purple!

My neighbours complained too. Their only problem was the night it got to much for them I wasn't home, it was dad blasting the stereo.

The most Iconic, Iconic Heavy Metal Anthem Song Ever!! This whole band is so Hot!! on this song, that I'm surprised that the building they were talking about did not burn down because of them playing this song, They were Cooking!!! Especially the Lead Singer and Keyboardist!! One of the all time great riffs by Ritchie Blackmore!! A Beavus and Butthead favorite.

One of the first albums that I bought. R.E.O. Speedwagon T.W.O. and Machinehead was bought the same week. I remember seeing Deep Purple on TV playing outdoors on what looked to be tall scaffolding outside. It was a great show. I went out and had to have the album.

When I was 15, I thought that at 25 or 30, I would stop liking Deep Purple, and I would only listen to country ballads. Today almost to my fifties, my skin becomes like goosebumps when I listen to this song, 35 years later.
