I just bought my first home there, I'm moving from Niagara Falls. After seeing this video I cannot wait for the small town life. This place looks beautiful. We bought the home without even seeing the water front, but the large hills looks like British Columbia without the whales, I'm so excited!! :D

It was a gift from the Creator - not the government of Canada. There is so much wrong here such as where are the Algonquin and a critical analysis of nuclear power.

Ignorance I see is bliss for you, sad, poke your nose in but don't know any facts, one of my neighbors used to be one of the Algonquin Chiefs but you'd know that if you had bothered to do any research which is what the nuclear scientists have been doing here for 75 years.

You seem to be angry. Truth is both mind and heart knowledge. Longevity is a poor criterion of knowledge - but since this is where you went, rock was here a long time before humans came along with their silly inventions. I am happy your neighbour was Algonquin. Take good care.

Small town nightmare. To me. Everyone knows everyone else and there is no privacy. Dig deep and you'll see a different picture.

@@aloer- There's the nightmare reply right there. I lived in a small town and that's how the people speak when you scratch the surface. Wait until you dig deep. Colonel Russel Williams dug deep. Right into the underwear of the female residents. That's why I viewed the video to see where HE was from.

@@Janet1968 One can only cast aspersions based on one's own personal experiences. I would say that all isolated, small towns would be very similar. A small town is a community like any other. However, a small town is a much smaller self-contained community. Everything that takes place in a large city would still take place in a small town but it would take place in a much more concentrated form, obviously. Do you need examples? Surely not. What elevates Deep River and places it above all other small towns? Why is Deep River not the ordinary small town? I stand by my comment of 5 months ago.

@@goldkhw He isn't from Deep River genius, he was born in England and lived in Deep for six years and at the age of seven moved to Scarborough. So do everyone a favor, get a life and know what your talking about because you truly don't know shit.
