The different mug for the Glyphid Slammer is because of the Supporter DLC, but you can click on the checkbox when ordering it to use the classic one instead. Rock and Stone!

If you have the Beast Mater perk enabled, it'd be awesome if, every so often, you start a mission with a Pretorian (or perhaps even more rarely, an Oppressor) already controlled by you, being a Steve from an earlier excursion. Your dwarf would utter the line: "Wow, Steve, you've really grown!"
