Nice video Des . Interesting machine . Rejecting pull tabs but keeping Gold rings . Maybe best to see on an ET if the pull tab is the same number as the ring . If it rejects the tab and keeps the ring and both have the same numbers on an ET that would be very interesting . Unusual coil design. At 12.40 was that salt water ? Looks an interesting machine . It's a tidal river foreshore that has two tides full and low daily but when low it's probably 80% being, non-affected by salt? As I said in a written Review of the "Vista X" it took a short while to fully ground balance to the brackish mix and was in 'somewhat negative GB' but it worked well. I'd imagine it is similar to The Thames foreshore in water mix? Thanks for watching, appreciated!

What excellent demo you really know what you are doing with that fantastic machine. I watched another videos I thought this machine doesn't work very well so noisy and annoying so I thought doesn't matter it's deep and now I really really like it because you spend some time to learn thank you excellent video I subscribe to your channel and I want to watch it for the future

Thank You Hristo...I would agree: other videos showed it to be "noisy" but it can be very quiet also and still very reactive to tiny things! I'm hoping to put up a 2nd video soon?

"Thanks for that James...they both hit 'hard' on coins and the "X" has the 'edge' literally in it's coil edge - the Rx coil winding (RHS as you're looking at the coil) in it's superior rejection of crown bottle tops and far superior ferrous 'recognition', again using the coil 's edges to get the 'HI' tone to go 'Lo' The "Vista X" is lacking a target ID display but does not need one because the 'audio' is "cleaner and superior" to that of the other one you referred to in your question. It's TID is too 'lumped together anyhow' and while being 'semi stable' a lot of the time, I prefer "cleaner" audio" and not having to keep 'gazing' at a meter!"

Great video, similar to the Mojave .Can this coil on edge technique be used with other detectors?

Thanks for watching. No, it is far superior to the Mojave! The 'coil edge' pin pointing can be done with "most" detectors but some are better at it than others. The "Vista X" not only pin points targets to 3" buried in the ground but it can differentiate good targets from trash in a way no other machine can do!
