Thank you so much for the comment … I think price wise both the car falls in different segment but range wise they fall under similar segment … I think it’s purely personal choice to select according to ones own needs and wants. Both the cars you had asked about is from big brands, so brand wise - they are both good. I liked Deepals looks, style and presence. OMODA has better ground clearance. My personal choice is physical keys, which OMODA has. Deepal is too sophisticated for me with the kind of things that it accepts - like gesture, voice commands. OMODA also accepts voice command though . I suggest you to please understand your personal need and preference first and decide .. both these cars has its own kinda offerings to cater to people with different wants .

Hello Hajur, Thank you so much for the comment and feedback. The calculation you gave looks good. It took me back to my school days and you know what, I am weak in maths ;-) I will definitely try to calculate it this way in the future.

It will. But it's dynamic. The deciding factor being the consumption which is given in kilowatt-hour per 100km.. say you have 15kWh/100km which is average consumption for most but can jump to 20 on uphills. You have total of 66.8kWh so total range for effciency for 15-20kWh/100 consumption would be 445km - 334km.. mind you you'll want to recharge at around 20% remaining battery so always take that into account plus the energy spent on the accessories like AC and electronics which is 3.3kWh extra used here.

Hello, It’s all up to your need .. where do you live and what’s the kind of distance you travel everyday ? Plus, are you planning to get a new one or are you upgrading selling the existing one .. if you are planning to upgrade from a IC but your daily traveling is not that very much, then IC is fine I think .. and if you are planning to get a new one and you have a lot to commute daily, you can check on EVs ..

it has a C-NCAP rating of 5 stars, and as it follows Euro Ncap's design it's pretty reliable i guess. Atto 3 had CNcap of 5 stars and they also got 5 stars in Euro Ncap. so i guess C-Ncap is pretty reliable aswell.

@@dhojeGood rated C-NCAP cars do not get good ratings in Europe and other places. I have seen good rated cars from India and China standards get one star in Europe and Australia. Byd built quality is good that is why they got 5 star in most tests in Europe, America. Deepal cars are already tested for NCAP they did not do good. It is just a box with urus design tbh. There was one Deepal crash where airbags did not deploy. Plus I heard a case here in out country too. I would never chose design over safety. In top of that we are in a country of landslide, no proper road system and narrow highway like Nepal you need good quality safe cars.

@@himalayanknight8 True, and whats true again is that freak accidents do occur. I don’t own this car so I really have no bias but looking at the trend brands like Xpeng, Zeekr, Nio, BYD etc all scored 5 stars on both Euro and C-NCAP which does give us a hope about Deepal aswell and since Deepal’s are going to the European Market they will obviously have to comply with their standards. Well let’s hope so. Also C-NCAP uses the same testing models as the Euro NCAP since 2019 so let’s hope it’s good. Also Deepal hasn’t been tested on any other NCAP’s except C-NAP, if you could help me with the link that’d be amazing cause I can’t find it anywhere and once you get tested you cannot hide it as it is illegal to do so. I had a chance to sit on one and honestly it felt solid and well built. It felt 10X better than Indian Cars. It was built amazingly and Huawei has done an excellent job with the software too. Backed by CATL+Huawei even if I don’t own this vehicle I would if I had to. I had the same thought about Chinese cars a couple of years ago but after BYD I had a change of heart and started going through their vehicle portfolio and surprisingly in these 2-5 years they’ve really up’d their game and don’t get me wrong I’m still reluctant about buying a Chinese car but lately I am slowly warming up to them 🤣

I haven’t driven that car till date .. chaleko cha … it’s very common car … with the market acceptance, ramro nai hola
