Happy Deepavali 2019 !!!! My blessings to all for an auspicious festival this year.
Deepavali Legiyam is a very traditional recipe made at every household. This is very healthy as it cures stomach aches that occur during the festival due to higher sweet and snacks consumption.

கண்டத்திப்பிலியையும் அரிசி திப்பிலியையும் மாற்றி சொல்கிறீர்கள் பாட்டி. அரிசி மாதிரி குட்டி குட்டியாய் இருப்பது அரிசி திப்பிலி. நீட்டகுச்சியாய் இருப்பது கண்டத்திப்பிலி. தவறை கண்டுபிடிக்கும் நோக்கத்தில் சொல்லவில்லை.

Namaskar grandma, I m from Karnataka a madhwa brahmin but staying USA. Follow up with you on KZfaq and all ur recipes are very nice,even though I don't understand tamil,but love to see you.recipes are excellent, my grandma was a great cook like you.

My grandmother was from Kumbakonam,too, and she spoke and cooked like you, Shantha amma. You bring back marvelous memories and stir up nostalgia. I have been in the USA for 50+ years but continue to miss sweet souls like you . Happy Diwali to younand family.

Maaami vanakam.. to tell you the truth am not doing try and err with my family on this recipe, atleast not now during this diwali..( I know my cooking skills 😂).. but was tears when you were explaining about your good old days.. maami we are completely lost in this commercial world we are going no way, but getting carried away with offers, advertisement exercised on us by economic giant.. the lost essence of what is called festival is lost.. sadly we realise ourselves only when we get to some good old angle like you.. thank you for sharing what festivals can also be like 🙏🙏🙏

I just love this video. Happy deepawali. Reminds me of my g.mother giving us curd rice in our hands with vathakuzhambhu in the middle. Heven. Now I am a g.mother and I made many deepawali bakshanam for my g.son and daughter. Love to you both.
