Cajun Country Revival LIVE at Deep End Sessions! Our Summer Solstice concert June, 2018 with the great Jesse Legé, Joel Savoy, Nadine Landry and Stephen “Sammy” Lind. The Cajun Country Revival performed a super high energy concert to a packed house (our largest audience ever!). "The Hen’s Aren’t Laying” a traditional tune that Jesse recalls hearing on 78rpm in the 1940s, was the finalé to the evening. Directed and Produced by David Bunn. You had me at "there's a pretty young girl on bass". That said, this is some of the greatest music in the entire world. I've studied and played a lot of different kinds of music for over 20 years but this is some of the best.

I want to get married but the hens aren't laying (a young man giving excuses for NOT getting married). Another line goes I want to get married but I have no money, I want to get married but the old folks don't want, then I want to get married but the priest doesn't want. LOL! J'veux marier mais j'ai pas d'argent, J'veux marier mais les poules pends pas. J'veux marier mais les vieux veux pas. J'veux marier mais le prêtre veux pas
