আম সপ্তাহের প্রথম দিনে আমরা দীপ্ত কৃষি টিম তুলে ধরেছি আমের জন্য খ্যাত চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ জেলাকে। প্রতি বছরের ন্যায় এই মৌসুমে তেমন একটা আমের ফলন হয় নি এই জেলাতে। এই বছর পুরো চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জে আমের ফলন নেমে এসেছে প্রায় ৩৫ শতাংশে। আশানুরূপ ফল না পাওয়ায় বাগানিরাও রয়েছে বিপাকে। তেমনি একজন বাগানি হলেন আহসান হাবিব, তিনি শিবগঞ্জে প্রায় ১৬ বিঘা জমিতে ১৮ প্রজাতির আমের উৎপাদন করছেন। এর মধ্যে জিএই পণ্য ক্ষীরশাপাতি আম অন্যতম। এই আম দেশের গণ্ডি পেরিয়ে ইউরোপে রপ্তানি হচ্ছে আশা করা যায় ভবিষ্যতে আমের ফলন বৃদ্ধি করে আরো আমাদের এই জিএই পণ্য ক্ষীরশাপাতি আমের রপ্তানির মধ্য দিয়ে আরো বৈদেশিক আর্থ অর্জন করা সম্ভব।
