You can also reload during mantras, ANY mantra. Do whatever you will with this knowledge, this is the only reason I find 1h guns bearable to use.

I commit untold sins on a daily basis with my 40.6 Damage m1 dragoon. It’s really funny, especially after the last update because now I can do full m1 strings instead of having to wait for a half minute between shots.

I feel like investing an extra 20-40 points for 50 dmg aint worth for overpower since you can invest it into other dmg multipliers or maybe thats just me

I mean it’s still my best build, which is unshrined and uses several damage multipliers to achieve the number, and with using stone or the obfus enchant you can pretty reliably get them to block your bullets, and either chip through or break it completely.

I use an alloyed dawnshot, because it only holds 4 rounds, i found a glitch, you can switch to a revolver, reload 6 rounds and switch back to your dawnshot, this is only useful during friendly 1v1s or planned fights tho, still pretty neat and sometimes useful

Imo single gun should get a lot of its talents merged, a pistol whip crit when you're out of ammo that could reload bullets, and better ways to reload (being able to parry or dodge out of reload, new talents etc). The weapon type just has no mixups, its only merit is the amount of damage it can do. Its kind of in the same boat as silentheart, where it falls off in high level PVP because you're just not mixing people and you have to work so much to be just as good as a normal weapon. Youre a weapon type thats missing a running attack and a crit unless reloaded, two universal mixups in the game. The current mechanics just lend themselves to playing extremely passive with projectile bullets (it was a mistake to add projectiles) and reloading with little defense. When imo the opposite should be encouraged because thats when Deep pvp is at its best. (Also please buff true ether bullets you literally have to give up iron bullets which is like 35% pen , projectiles and more damage)

Uhh my build specifically is kinda troll because I mainly made it to abuse neural overloaded Ceaseless Slashes (Best mobility in the game). I shrined out of gale for the stuff like gale dash and its other mobility + shrined out of cheap shot then went 25 str/fort /charisma + 100 int. If you want to shrine out of gale, you do need to take 30 agility pre shrine for some of the gale talents, but if not I'd recommend shrining out of manipulator/maybe Unnecessary Theatrics for the extra crit damage. Realistically for guns your damage and pen is already mostly accounted for just by playing the weapon so it really comes down to what you enjoy using and what you can use to mix up well
