Man yeah, getting them done!! No way could I imagine the experience running that 25' head down the road!! I would spend the rest of the day beating the seat back flat,after my tail got through chewing on it!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Loved seeing the old farm buildings and Roberts commentary!! Thats pretty cool on the custom harvest, y'all usually don't have a lot of time for that do you? Boy, I bet thats how my beans will look too 😳 So MANY deer at the farm. Had a group come out and just watch me while working on the loader yesterday in thr bottom 🤬 Looking fwd to seeing some wheat drilled!! I guess mine will shrivel up due to no rain 😥😥 Thank you both for bringing us along, looking fwd to seeing what's next!! 😁😁😁👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🌾🌾🌾🌾🚜🚜🚜

I used to do quite a bit of custom harvesting. As we've added acres to our operation, that's slowed down. I work it in when I can, though. It's hard to pass up $45/ac.

I'm working on the deer Dylan lol. I think Barnett having everything around there in corn this year didn't help and concentrated the deer to that field.

Unfortunately I have gotten to adjust a few mailboxes,not with a header though!! 😢😢 oh, you mentioned a 30 foot header does that mean a bigger combine ?? Robert thanks for wanting to save the old farmstead but unfortunately that place was to far gone by the time someone like you was old enough to take over or buy. Thanks men !!

Great video 👍👍. We’ve got about 15 acres of corn left, all our bins are stacked full and ADM and the Anddersons have been shutting down because their full of corn too. I know what you mean about the 25 foot head, we go everywhere with out 25 foot corn head.

I had some lady tell me I was #1 when I was going down the road with my 643 corn head. I couldn't imagine going down the road with my 920 let alone a 25' head. That lady would have lost her mind. Of course, when people act like that, I think that they should not be able to use what is being made out on the beans and corn. And around here that would mean she would not be able to drive her car. Most of the corn here ends up at the ethanol plant. And what doesn't go to the ethanol plant goes along with the beans for animal feed. So no gas and food for you, lol.

Where do you buy your pants at? I mean, they've got to be custom order to fit your big balls in them....takes a big set to run that 25' down the road

I have problems with deer in corn too. They eat it down and the stalks will be about waist high with nothing on them. Deer are just long legged rats. There's an farmer that says the farmers and insurance companies need to get together and sue the TWRA for bringing the deer in.

Before i cut back some on what i was farming we had one farm there was 350 acres in one block the dam deer would eat probably the first 200 feet around the whole dam field, and what i always noticed some years they were worse than others, if it was a wet growing season the dam deer always seemed to hit it harder
@DylanJoyceFarms9 ай бұрын
We had about 12 acres total that they ate this year.

Do u notice the back end getting light with the honey bee vs the 922?
@DylanJoyceFarms9 ай бұрын
The combine handles the header fine. The only time I notice the rear end being light is backing up hill with the 4wd on.

I am wondering how a 7720 would handle the weight. Im thinking they are lighter in the rear than a 9xxx series.

We have never had trouble with deer in corn, but we have turkeys. We've got a couple of farms we have gone to continuous corn on because of the deer pressure on soybeans.
