If I lived just a little closer to where I hunt I would get a bike.

About 25 years ago a man came past me on a trail in state land on mountain bike, shot another 1/4 mile in. Hour later he had deer on bike pushing it,Smart. I had a ladder stand on wheels that I rolled mine out on. Aircraft grade aluminum 3,6' sections one with top and side wheels, also used to cross ditches and creeks. Would carry hanging out trunk.

Ever throw catfish in the bathtub. Lol one time I was running late for work and iced a stringer of catfish down in the tub.

@@TheWaterSwatters No, but have caught fish and put them in a bucket of water till I could clean them. Also my grandfather had an outside old tub that was near the water pump for the well. Have kept fish alive in there also

She went about 150 yards maybe 175. No I think she ran untill she fell over dead. I didn't even find any place where she stopped and stood. Yeah I shot another one this morning with the reverse limb bow, my wife's good now lol!

@@TheWaterSwatters 😆 I do have one of those luggage things that she lets me load gear on. So I guess I could use it to haul a deer out with. She doesn’t care that I process deer on the kitchen table and skin fish on back porch if it’s raining but a stringer of fish in the tub would at least cost me a good nagging lol

When I was 18 I used to use a 79 mustang hatchback for deer hunting. Had some corn spill in back floor board and I swear it started growing!....lol

I can't say exactly I haven't shot these over a chronograph. If I had to guess I would say around 200-225fps with a 100 grain broadhead. I know I've shot two deer with this bolt out of this bow and it gave me a clean pass through on both of 'em.

15 yards is about the longest shot I've made with a pistol crossbow. This shot may have been a little further, maybe 17-18 yards. I'll have to go back out there and step it off.

I'm sure it would shoot that far if ya can hold it steady, it would have a lot of drop you would need to compensate for. I wouldn't take a shot on an animal that far.

It's been a long time since I've seen a deer across a hood. Several years ago it wasn't that uncommon of a sight.

Yeah I have a friend from a few states north lol he compares our deer to big dogs.

Nothing clean about killing. The law doesn't allow me to use a gun but for 2 deer we need 6 to carry us through the year. Inside 15 yards that small bow is as effective as any other archery equipment ive used.

@@TheWaterSwatters I understand what your saying however 1 it's a doe 2 it suffered for 2 hours. And 3 possibly better shot placement. 4 what do you think of that bow for self defence.

@@josephjosephbaska6655 well I shoot lots of does...only allowed 2 bucks and I need 6 so we shoot'em. I can't argue shot placement that wasn't my best shot but I'm human even though I take my time and aim I don't always hit where I want to. As far as self defense I prefer a firearm but I understand not everyone in the world has this option. It does run a close second although it's not near as fast. It also doesn't have the kinetic energy of a bullet so it won't have that instant stopping power.

@@TheWaterSwatters last time I hunted it was a felony to kill a doe and at least you acknowledge the placement could have been better however in the video you come across asnot caring that the deer suffered. I guess I'm just an old grandpa but I don't like to see anything suffer. The last time I hunted I hunted with a 3030 in brush witch my shots were instant kills or I didn't take the shot but then again I wasn't hunting for survival at that point I've been considering getting a crossbow pistol for self-defense however the last one I had from a flea market was like 25 bucks and had no knock down power at all it wouldn't even penetrate a bolt into a phone book so I was just trying to make sure that before I bought a crossbow pistol that they had improved them since the 1990s

@@TheWaterSwatters one more question if you don't mind. What's your favorite recipe of or the ribs. I used to like to soak them overnight in everclear to tenderize the meat the baste them in Bulls-Eye barbecue sauce while they slow cooked in a smoker over ether pecan or walnut wood. Hickory was always a close third.
