I have hunted here in western nc the past 2 days and nothing. The weather has been pretty nasty. 4+ inches of rain, ice and snow with high winds. Thanks for sharing your hunting trips. I makes me feel better for not getting anything. Our Rifle season is out the afternoon of new years day.

Oh Joe I feel your pain :)) I'm so grateful they got me the nice buck with the bow because they also have gotten nothing since. At least I have 80 lbs of chickens frozen to make up for it. LOL and pork steaks :))) I've been wondering if you make beautiful furniture like your pops, so it will be fun to watch you make the bed!

Wow the tent looks way different

I have to ask, do you guys ever do any ice fishing? If I had a place like that to go to I'd be there every weekend and as often as I could get away. It'd take an army to drag me out of there, and I'm usually a tent camper. No electricity, no running water, but I envy you a ton.

Is it state law that you have to wear the orange bibs? In Maine it's a vest and a hat.

this is our last weekend of regular firearms season for deer then we have 2 weeks of muzzle loader hunting only thing ive seen so far is a few does the store here in my town had tagged 65 bucks and 22 does but here the doe tags are a lottery thing and i didnt get drawn for a doe tag this year

Still a successful season having time with family. I wish when I hunted to eat more at camp allot cheaper dad had to go out every nite. See you guys have luxury hunting on Sundays

Have you tried Jonnys Seasoning Salt? I saw you had Lawrys. Give Jonnys a try and I'm sure you will have the same results I have had and everyone I recommend it to. You'll likely never buy Lawrys again!

I enjoyed your videos.It kind of hurts to watch all you put into your hunts,and then get out of your stands to go eat lunch and take a break.That is some of the hottest times of the day to kill a deer.Other people are doing the same thing,and walking around stirring the deer up.Its also a natural time of day for the deer to move.Since we have stayed in our stands from dawn till dusk,I bet our success has doubled with big bucks.We hunt in northern Mn.too.As long as I am not thirsty,hungary or cold,its easy to sit all day.Yeah,I dont eat like a king like you do,but venison comes alot easier,and thats what we are after.It takes more planning tosit all day,but I gaurantee you will be more successful.
