Deer Hunting in Michigan's Upper Peninsula DEER CAMP 2022

This week we head over the bridge and into the 906 as we get ready for Michigan's opening day of rifle season! Everybody's favorite deer camp is back in action and the guys are filling tags as we end up shooting a total of 7 deer during our 19th consecutive season together! Things start out on a high note as we head back to the field for the 16th season but it doesnt take long before the wolves let us know their in the area too as a pack of 5 show up forcing Jerry to move to another spot where the deer action is hot! Grab a cold drink and enjoy the camp fire with us as we head to DEER CAMP!

Good to see a glimpse of your deer camp. Nice bodied deer. Here in Pa. a lot of camps are empty after the first couple days of deer season. I imagine it would be easy to get turned around in thst thick brush.

Thanks for watching! There’s a lot less Deer Camps now in the UP than there was 20 years ago that’s for sure. The big woods make things tough lol and I have certainly been turned around a time or two up there. Good luck this fall and happy hunting

@@DroptineRidge unfortunately I haven't been able to be hunting since 2002,and lack of money, physical disability and just don't have the opportunity to be in the great outdoors but I have forever memories and they will always be fresh in my mind like it were yesterday.the upper peninsula of Michigan is my favorite place to go, and I have not been outside of the state of Michigan but it is what it is.i have plans to go back to the outdoors but just glad to just be alive and living. From central/northern Ontario I love seeing the Deer Camp videos... with regards to the deer pole... we had the same problem... be sure to skin all/most of the bark off the hanging pole... will last 10 times longer...cheers and keep the tradition alive....

Your spikes look 200 lbs! I’m in Indiana and we have healthy deer but I’ve never seen 1 1/2 year olds so huge! Imagine what a Florida guy would think! Been watching your deer camp vids and getting pumped. Good luck to all this year!
