I don’t think that people are excusing his behavior bc of the mental health struggles that he is clearly going through (tho some might be), but pointing out that among other things (ego, clout chasing) that its a part of the problem. We saw the same thing happen to Gabbie Hanna some months back. IMO, I think people bring up the mental health aspect bc it’s still stigmatized. Do I that the psychotic break that Fousey is having is an excuse him acting this way? No. But I think someone, either his family, his team, or even someone like Adin, needs to step in and stop enabling the behavior and get him some help.

I was very critical of Fousey during the airport incident because he still had some of his wits about him. Over the last week or so it's almost pointless to analyse and critique his behaviour because he's clearly going through something mentally. It was wrong for him to stop taking his medication and he is still responsible for what he's doing but he clearly is in need of help right now. I hope he gets it.
