Been waiting for this one for quite some time. This composition is one of the best I've heard from this band. From my point of view, this song is about staying with someone you are in love with but you know is not committed to you 100%. Thank you so much for the video, reaction and comments. So amazing how this song teleports me to the 80s and being with my high school GF. Her and I still talk and she says the exact same thing. She hears this song and thinks of me too. Def Leppard was one of my top 4 or so in the 80s.

Holy shit ! When this was released the same thing happened to me. I can't begin to tell you how something like this feels. God how this song hurts to hear again. I'll tell you this I wouldn't trade the times I had in the 80's for anything. Great choice.

Def Leppard needs to be heard live, they are an amazing live band. Also, their drummer lost an arm in a car accident so he's playing the drums with just one arm.

My favorite Def Leppard song!! I remember making out to this song in my 79 Cutlass. We played this tape over & over. Back then you had to guess how long you needed to rewind the tape to get to the start of the song you wanted to hear. Oh how I wish we had CDs back then. ♥️🤘🏻💋🎸🥁🎤🎧🎹

This was Def Leppard’s only song that hit #1 in America. It was released right after “Pour Some Sugar on Me” which made it to #2 off the Hysteria album.

The song is about loving someone who does not love you back. You need that persons love but they keep hurting you. “I don’t want to touch you too much baby, cuz making love too you might drive me crazy.”

That's exactly what the song is about I know you think love is the way you make it( what a great lyric with a double meaning) you think love is whatever you want it to be and also you think sex is love(the way you make it) It can't be love if you throw it about....she doesn't know heat true love is. It's just a word she uses when it suits her. She doesn't know what love is. He does. He loves her and can't resist her but he knows she does not love him so he is going to get hurt

This is by far one of the best rock bands of that era. Phenomenal instrumental work. Just to think the drummer had only ONE arm!!! ❤️😝🤘🏼 They definitely don't make music like this anymore....I love her facial expressions 😆

I've seen Def Leppard 2 times, once in 2003 and again in 2014. I've also seen a bunch of other 80s bands, Scorpions 2014, Poison 2014, Skid Row in 2001, Great White in 08. I saw Joan Jett open for the Animals in 2014. I saw AC/DC and Guns N Roses in 2001. Motley Crue in 2013, it was supposed to be their last show but wasn't. Ziggy Marley somehow, a bunch of other bands for other various reasons like Creed, Three Doors Down, a friend of mine was a drummer in Boo Gotta Fix so I saw Local H. I saw the Pixies at the Aragon Ballroom in 08 as well as Frank Zappa. God, I'll have to think but theres more...

I remember being in 8th grade & my friend introduced me to def leppard. Had this in my cassette player & would rewind this song hundreds of times until that part of the tape was worn out :/

Honestly DEF LEPPARD is a top-10 band in R&R history. The sheer number of hits they had. I cant think of many other band maybe aside from like Fleetwood Mac, Beatles, Zeppelin, Metallica, Aerosmith, Queen, Van Halen... Def Leppard just had so many hard hitting bangers!! Photograph, Rocket, Animals, Love bites, Too late for love, Bringing on the heartbreak, Hysteria, Pour some sugar on me, Foolin, Armageddon it!! SO MANY HITS!!!

I saw them at a show about 15 years after this song came out. When the first guitar notes of this song rang out over the PA half of the women’s heads in the crowd kind of bobbed. Buckling knees on about 5K women at the same time looks wild

I first heard this when I was like 9 years old. My mom played this album quite a bit after she divorced my dad and had quite a bit of suitors (go Mom!) As a 42-year-old male relistening to this song now, I realise I really had no idea what this song was about when I sang it around the house with the company around. It's pretty filthy but in a good Def way.

In this episode of Brad & Lex, a quick Styx comparison is made by Lex before allowing Leppards "Defness" to take over her physical being which creates her "back forth frontal bop" as Brad seems to enjoy this 80,s tune but remains neutral not without at least giving us a low energy "side to side sway".

Always thought this song was about, someone you hooked up with occasionally or maybe when ever you were in that city, but than you started to have stronger feelings for them, and your questioning if they are thinking of you in same way. Another great song. Plus any video with Tawney Katean, has to be a great song. I was in love with her, even if I was like only 14.. check her out on the hood of cat in white shakes video.. wow. “Here I go again”..

ive just subscribed to your chanel , i think you 2 are great i love your vids , im over the pond in manchester uk , ive searched before for this one with you guys but it doesnt come up , as your posts are wide , you do a lot or have on maiden , acdc , def leopard , all great bands , please check out a song called ( And the bands played on ) by another great band from over here called Saxon , its about them being at the monsters of rock festival back in the day , the words of this song would want you be there , they mean everything about what being at a rock concert is , keep up the good work guys , great work .

Queensryche opened for this tour only concert at the Spectrum I saw that was in the round. This was after the drummer was injured and had his arm amputated GREAT SHOW!

OMG this song! My first heartbreak! Very dramatic, LMAO this and Still Loving You by Scorpions! Right there in the Clearwater/ St. Pete area! They broke up and one moved on before the other but still likes to play with the other!

I actually wish more people would dig deeper into the lyrics of songs they listen to. Considering lyrical content is a very big part of any song, it seems odd to suggest that someone, essentially, ignore them. If someone just wants to groove or vibe to the music, they should stick to instrumentals.

This is a song about being madly in love with another person who is only interested in their own pleasure. The song started out as a country song and Def Leppard made it in too this. None of the band members played this together at the same time while in the studio. But it was done in pieces. Only after the song became a hit did they have to get together and figure out how to play the song live.
