First flight in 4 years means IOC in 14 years and induction in 17 years. That's the best case. China and US will have 6th gen by then and 50% of Chinese fleet will be 5th gen.

@sawcon4305F35 2006 mein inaugurate ho chuka tha aur ab tak 1000 se bhi zyada banaya Jaa chuka hai. US ka FXX program ka bhi prototype develop ho chuka hai jo ki 6th generation hai. Aur Russia , China bhi Lage hue hain 6th generation pe. 20 saal mein bana lenge. Aur yahan par Tejas nahi bana paa rahe hain.

AMCA is our only path forward, we better make sure it's good and on time. The Su-57 is not stealth, and nothing else is on the table for us.

Because First these people give 2026 time line now after that they give 2028 time line still u think that they can able to make jets in give time line ???? Did u just see them how many year did they took for finalizing mrfa deal ???? And still u belive in them .... those who have seriousness towards their defence they choose fast and buy fast see South koria choose f35 and they just buy it ...... also chek their f35 induction how many years they took for that buying process and chek our mrfa buying time line process u clearly see that where u see seriousness towards defence purchases and where not becuse those who r serious they choose fast and buy fast ...... and they did not seat like us and think that whether these jet is cheap and affordable or like that ......

Forget about AMCA being stealth we don't know if it flies. The same is true for Mk2. HALs order book is full and they will take their own sweet time to deliver Mk1a. This PSUs are the bane of Indian Aircraft industry.

@@r8rdarklordBefore blaming HAL, There are other real issues are making very difficult to delivery 1. Order clearance - government and IAF waste there lot's of time on ordering 2. Upgrading - Jet, plane, helicopter not fully produced they want upgrade new technology 3. Changing specifications from IAF 4. Payment issue - IAF need to pay high amount (They ask for jet but they don't do payment in timeline 5. Engine issue - Everyone knows India imports all kinds of engine, from single GE vendor purchasing same engine makes increase huge depensecy 6. Test bed - India required huge test bed, for 5th generation also R&D amount 7. Commitment - government IAF need o give priority and strong commitment I worked in private R&D company, all projects not success, there are lots trail and eroor need to be done, Giving 10rs asking 100rs item is very difficult to complete project, All private customer of HAL is happy, because they are paying amount right time and delivery of HAL is good

@@Spyron_ I hope they buy fc 31 quickly or even j20. This will light a fire in the ass of IAF & our Govt. machinery. They will start a conversation with Russia to get stealth fighter jets. Who knows IAF may also inform DRDO that they have no interest in AMCA & to focus all their energies on delivering Tejas Mk2. FWIW, neither Tejas Mk2 nor AMCA flies they are parked on the drawing board of ADA.

The octocopter drone in its use as infantry replacement should be equipped with 7.62×51 assault rifle (that is not AK) and drum magazine with armor piercing rounds in addition to day-night camera.

The F-22, F-35, J 20 and the Su-57 operate engines in thrust class ranging from 157 kN to 191 kN with US engines having a max diameter of 117 cm and the Russians at 128 cm. The Chinese and the Russian fighters are 23 and 22 meters in length. The AMCA is 17.6 meters in length with proposed F414 engine with max diameter at 89 cm and max thrust at 98kN. (no wonder it is called ‘medium’ but why would you design a ‘medium’ aircraft in any sense of the word when your aim is a 5th generation fighter?) India is going to make a grave mistake going for such a 'limited design' (power and size) when for the same amount of effort, it can have a more useful plane in the longer run with an eye to the future.

6th gen jets will have more capabilities.. since long time I am hearing AMCA first flight in 2023-2024 now 2027-28 is the timeline.. there will be no surprise agr Tejas MK 2 k tarah timeline phirse change krde aur bole 4 saal lgenge.. Believe me we gonna get AMCA in 2032 because first flight will be in 2029-2030 and after all certification 2032 will come after that sensors and weapons package integration will start so another 3 more years..2035 is the destination.. in 2035 or before we can see 6th gen jets will be flying everywhere and advance weapons n tech like laser , auto pilot, swarm integration etc Till the time our all deliveries of AMCA will be done that time tech will be outdated and 6++ or 7th gen we can see 😊

The Indian army has acquired an amazing amphibiois ATV called the Sherp N 1200 in limited numbers . It can take almost anything, rocks, 30° gradients, steep descents, water , snow etc etc. It looks like unlike any ATV .G search it.The driving system is completely different, There is no steering wheel. Even the US army has bought some . I wonder why DS didn't cover it . 🤔

America is now working on the NGAD 6th generation fighter jet. Korean Kai- FC 21 on testing. We didn't even build a prototype of AMCA and confirm 4 years to the 1st prototype to fly is a far cry I think. Tejas take 35 years to induct. Let's see when AMCA will fly .

On Republic Day parade not only France rafale, India should involve us- stealth bomber with trained pilots, south koreas stealth fighter jet, Indian friendly nations should participate in the parade by involving India’s friendly nation adding stealth aircraft of 5th generation, like that more than-20 fighter jets of India’s friendly countries can participate with trained pilots in parade it would be a strong message to china and Pakistan

Very unlikely PPP notwithstanding. Reason is ADA' has not done the level of homework needed. If teh a/c is rolled out by 2027 it will go in for VERY prolonged "development" flight.We need to examine alternative conepts of teh 5th generation.

It is not a mobile which is launched every 2-3 years with new features. Designing an aircraft takes time and money both. USA took 20 years and billions of dollars for designing F35 lightning, which is a 5G aircraft.
