Thanks for the video. It helped me a lot. Especially with unscrewing the back plate . Instructions was not clear about the long screw holding the back plate.

I installed the same one yesterday, but it stays on and doesnt go off. I didnt see you adjusting timer and sensor. Did you install it right out of the box without messing with buttons?

Hi Jesse, if you can return the unit, this is a know issue where it stays and ignores the timer settings. I have installed 3 of theses recently and 2 of them have that issue. Sorry about that I hope that can help you.

Can the LED lights be replaced? Or do you have to replace the whole unit?

Unfortunately you have to replace the whole unit, however, the unit has 2 pieces, the wall part and the sensor with the light. I hope that helps.

How do you adjust the length of time the light stays on? I have one just like the one on the video and mine only stays on for a few seconds. Help!!!

Hello there, I have installed 3 of this lights and they seem to have that problem where the sensor doesn’t work and it stays on at all times. I think it is more like a manufacturing issue.

Mine is installed (uses a solar panel) but the sensor part just blinks red. Would you know why the light doesn’t come on?

Hi Lilbeth, I have never installed a unit with a solar, I would refer you to the owners manual. Also do you know the make and model of it? that might help me rout you the right way.

The switch is inside the house and it is turned on at all times. One of the features is that it turns automatically on once it is dark outside

The sensitivity is automatic and the time is on the settings of the device. This is a older device so I would recommend something newer

Defiant, light's don't work. the sensor and lights don't work

If all the wiring is correct you should return the device. It might be an electrical issue with the unit. Good luck

It should be a simple positive and negative connection

very straight forward: Black to Black, White to White, Green to Ground, if your home has two blacks wire them together, then wire the black from the light to the two that are wired together
