For me, the wash n go with the Black Castor & Flaxseed Oil Ecostyle Gel works wonderful. The other Eco Styler gels always left my hair crunchy and or hard and the shrinkage was terrible. Recently, I been using the bentonite clay to clarify my hair, so I do not know rather or not this is part of my result. I think some people may feel differently about the new Eco Styler Gel? I say, try it... Go for it!!

Also, results may vary in whatever leave-in is used with the new gel too. Tip: I would take a little black castor & flaxseed oil gel and mix it with whatever leave-in conditioner into the palm of my hands. Just to see if it blends well...Cause if it does not mix well, it will leave nasty white flakes in your hair...UGH!! IJS. #sharing #is #caring

Shameka Cheek I was about to post the same thing. Testing/ mixing the products on the back of your hand prior to using them saves a lot of time and money.

When I do my twistouts, especially in humid climates, I prefer to use gel. Not only does gel provide great definition, it holds up well against the humidity and provides great body. So, if you're in a humid climate - I''m in southern Georgia - gel is great to use to maintain your twistouts. But, I use a liquid leave-in for just the reason India indicated: EcoStyler doesn't play well with other leave-ins.

Tell me why I'm just discovering this for myself. I live in Georgia and my hair shrinks up so quickly. Well I did a twist out with grease and the gel and I was out yesterday and my hair did not shrink

Eco styler gel doesn't mix well with many products. But if you mix the products in your hand first, it'll let you know what products blend well and those that will clump in your hair. Mo Knows Hair did this on her channel. It's saved me many times. Bomb twist out by the way!!

Your hair came out very pretty! I love ❤️ that flaxseed black castor oil gel, it makes my curls pop, it's my new "go to" I pair it with one of my favorite curl butter creams. I get frizzy spot sometimes too and it makes my hair flake when it gets old after 4 to 5 days, but my curls love it.

As someone who can't cornrow or flat twist, this is helpful. Maybe one day I'll make some neat twist and have the patience to wait for them to try AND unravel them carefully. LOL. Also nice seeing how using the flexirods vs. not using them works.. #teamlazy

I’m super late but I learned from minimarley to help reduce drying time, remove the excess product on your twists by using a tshirt to wring out the twists. Hope that makes sense!

Hey Sista. So I tried it yesterday and it turned out great!. I did do something a little different. The day before I did a twist out using the LCO method after I washed my hair. So it was rather hydrated when I decided to use the gel. However, I used the Ecostyler Argan Oil gel and it did not flak up at all. Because it was gel it was a little hard. Let me know if anyone or you have tried this and if it was a big stiff when you take it out. Thanks for this. As usual I love you and your sisters. You all are the best.

I feel like you have a very similar texture to mine, and your hair cuts are always GORGEOUS! Could you tell me when you get your trims if it is cut in its curly state, or when it's straight? I have been able to achieve an amazing twist out from you last defined twist out video. I love it and it helped greatly. So I was Wondering if you could do a defined braid out video. I love Eco olive gel; but my hair is low porosity 4a. Iam washing and with leave--in only, dry in dryer and use gel ending with sweet almond oil and twists in no wet hair.. any times I.mix gel with shea butter and agave for a custard.
