A project of remastering a video that had been planned since February 2019. Today is the day the project is finally published.
This is a remastered version of: • Bookworm Adventures Vo...
Why is it remastered, you ask? Despite the original video having quite a lot of popularity, I was not satisfied with the overall quality of the video:
• It lacked a smoother framerate, as a result of the video resolution being 480p instead of 1080p.
• The audio came from the laptop itself and not from the headphones.
• The video was not edited at all, so no transitions, end screens or intros are present at all.
• Everything regarding the video is messed up, in general.
Sadly, I was disappointed at myself for not annihilating Codex, just vanquishing him, but the results don't have to be evident, and speaking of which, you now have the details in the left barrier of the video. Difficulty is subjective and inaccurate. Subjective because in some parts, it seems easier for me than it might actually be, inaccurate because it's also calculated based on the stats of each character. Some bosses may have very similar stats and their difficulty levels vary, then again, Lex's power is also taken into consideration, partially.
The video also includes the only boss not included in my BWA2 video, being Tree Demon in Chapter 5, Book 5. ( • Bookworm Adventures Vo... )

31:48 and this is why power down is the most powerful (and most annoying) status effect in the game. I remember as a kid I almost always packed the medusa bust if an enemy had power down. 50% chance to resist those effects is crazy

I learned four things from watching this: 1. Even as a player who regularly spells 6-9 letter words, I’m missing quite a few even longer words. 2. There is a 99 potion cap for each potion. 3. The rumor that the game automatically makes enemies deal more damage when you spell longer words regularly is true. 4. I’m not the only one who likes the wooden parrot. Great video! Edit: At 52:10, you could have spelled “squanderings”.

Technically, there is no actual potion gap, the counting just stops at 99.

5. As you reach the last chapters, the amount of 'u's the game gives you increases, making a bit more difficult to get good words.

Not gonna lie, when I first played this game, I was so disappointed that in the 4th level of Book 3 with all the "Were-creatures", the boss is not named the "Were-Wolf"

I just did a challenge where i had to 1-shot everything, It was pretty fun, but damn seeing you make words out of thin air made me feel a bit jealous, good stuff!

I remember when I first found this game when I was 7. I literally would cry everytime I got to Cerberus. I really would beg and plead for my mom to beat it for me. She always was reluctant and would say “You can beat it. Just try”. I would die constantly and eventually she came and beat it after dying once. I was so happy and for ever boss after it I’ll always ask her to beat them.

This game is really good for children. Especially when their stills schools. Maybe can improve more english I guess ?

I remember using the following treasures in my first run of the game: - First book: Poseidon's shield/Aegis of Athena, Icarus sandals/Boots of Theseus or Golden Fleece, and Hephaestus' Hammer/Hand of Hercule. -Second book: Aegis of Athena, Hand of Hercule, and Cloak of Shades/Robe of the Unseen. -Third book: Aegis of Athena, Hand of Hercule, and Scimitar of Justice or Medusa Bust. -Whenever I died, I would change the third treasure for the golden fleece if I could. Yep, I admit it, Aegis of Athena, Hand of Hercule and Golden Fleece are quite the top tier treasures. Simply *classics* and quite helpful because most people aren't that good at spelling big words at first. Then, in my next runs, I realized the stronger the attack were, the more likely you'll get a better bonus gem if that attack defeated the enemy, so I became more daring, for example, in one of the runs I went for: -First book: Poseidon's shield/Aegis of Athena, Hephaestus' Hammer/Hand of Hercule, and Bow of Xyz/Arch of Xyzzy. -Second book: Aegis of Athena > Cloak of Shades/Robe of the Unseen or Sphinx Lantern/Magic Lamp, Arch of Xyzzy > Jeweled Key/Endless Gem Pouch, and Hephaestus' hammer > Wooden Parrot. -Third book: Magic Lamp or Magistrate's map/Silver Compass, Scimitar of Justice, and Wooden Parrot. The amount of "decimated", "obliterated" and "annihilated" that I got, specially at the third book, was amazing.

Bro try playing this and the second one with an anagram scrambler. It’s fun, but 2 is way harder because there’s less words than in one. And 2 has that ridiculous end boss.

He's most probably using an anagram solver. Most of these words are unrealistic for a player to see. And I'm a world class player speaking here.

They are in early game and so it makes sense...

They have low health because it's a survival battle. If they had more health, it'd probably be a massive difficulty spike for new players.
