One thing I noticed and loved is that Fizz in this episode looks like he’s gained some weight after ditching Mammon which I love. He’s finally taking care of himself❤

Blitz can't comprehend the idea of someone actually caring about him in that way, because nobody ever has. His mom is dead, his sister hates him, his dad sold him for five bucks and a condom, and Loona does love him but is so insecure she rarely shows it. So of course when he receives a heartfelt confession from Stolas, the man who spent months treating him like a plaything, he can't conceive of it as genuine, so he lashes out to protect himself from what he thinks is mockery. And of course Stolas really means it, he deeply regrets how he treated Blitz in the past and is trying to make up for it, but Blitz is so hurt he just can't see that. Great reaction!

Everyone always seems to side with Stolas but he was just as guilty as Blitz. Stolas started the conversation by asking for the book in a blunt manner which puts Blitz on edge. Then when he does confess his feelings and Blitz misunderstands it as a joke, he shuts down all further discussion and leaves, not giving Blitz any time to process the revelation and refusing to listen to him. Finally, when Blitz finishes his tirade, Stolas forces Blitz out of the house instead of continuing the conversation, especially then when Blitz wanted to really air everything out. Not saying that Blitz is blameless, he screwed up just as bad as Stolas, just pointing out that not everything was Blitz's fault.

Two things. One people are pointing out that tho Stolas says he always thought so highly of Blitz there are multiple examples of where he showed quite the opposite in front of Blitz and others. For example during the Dhorks fight he called Blitz his “impish little plaything”, and at Ozzie’s he was embarrassed to be seen with him in public by hiding his face when Blitz was being confronted. Second we see Fizz wearing a different outfit and I wonder if his old clown outfit was something that Mammon forced him to wear like how some companies require to wear outfits with their logo. Mammon had stated at the end of the Two Minutes Notice song that Fizz was practically in his image. We also see during the Two Minutes Notice song that Fizz is ripping the outfit apart piece by piece.

I think you were perhaps a bit too easy on Stolas here. It's easy to mistake the emotionally vulnerable confession as always being the 'best' way to take things, but Stolas' own fragility blinded him to the dynamic he created by creating the sex-based framework that he so despises. It's natural that Blitz is not able to immediately realize Stolas' sincerity, because Stolas thus far has constantly belittled Blitz, fetishized him, and otherwise been the beneficiary of an uneven power dynamic. Merely recognizing that power dynamic isn't enough to undo it - Stolas needed to put work in too before unleashing his feelings onto a person who clearly wasn't ready for those feelings. He needed to establish the possibility of a relationship not based on sex and power dynamics before doing his big declaration.

this part was really hard, because if you think about it... First of all Loona told Blizto that Stolas doesn't want him anymore. I don't think she meant to hurt him, she probably ddin't even realized that it would contribute to future issues. Second, Blitzo in his own shit is unable to ralize that he can be loved and Loona's words contributed to his own selfhate delusions, because as you've seen in the song He is actually happy in this arrangement. Because he can convince himself it is all about sex and does not need to think about things that frighten him, like love and relationships. Stolas at the same moment run out of his antidepressants so he was not in the right mind when he poured his soul out and overreacted, basicly dismissed Blitzo without giving him any chance to think. That on the other hand really made Blitzo to think that he is being dismissed from a tansaction, just like that, and it made him go hard into deffensive and lash out It is one big cluster*** and I hope that next episode will adress it, because it is called "Apology Tour"

Sarcastic Chorus has a great video about this. I think this is on Stolas, he is a hypocrite. Saying he made things about sex, while he always called him a plaything and while Blitz was in danger, in episode 1 he calls him just to fuck with 'im. Stolas was the one who made this about sex

The thing about Blitz is that he does have feelings for Stolas, but he couldn't comprehend that Stolas would actually feel anything for him. He didn't make a joke, he really thought Stolas was fucking with him or asking for a romance roleplay. Because he couldn't believe anything else. He is actually surprised when Stolas walks out on him, and he wants him to stay and talk things out. When Stolas doesn't do that, he feels dismissed, and that's why he gets angry. Because of his abandonment trauma. He was about to say sorry when he saw that Stolas was crying, but he got teleported out before that. We also have to understand that Stolas had months to prepare for this while Blitz didn't even have seconds. He didn't understand what was happening most of the time and thought Stolas was just getting bored of him. The whole situation is sad, but none of them was out to hurt the other, and none of them was really the bad guy.

This was.. PEAK about miscommunication between Stolas and Blitz. Stolas realizes that he is not innocent in this situation and speaks openly, honestly and like an adult with Blitz...but he doesn't understand that Blitz can't understand it because of his issues and complexities, that's his defense mechanism by yelling at Stolas, which was really bad...I think he also wanted to say he's sorry in the end..but this relationship is over.. But maybe Octavia can help them out at some point, when she finds out what her Mother and Uncle are up to.. Maybe way later at the end of the series... we get Stolas and Blitz being happy together, but not for now.

This episode was truly an roller coaster of emotions within the time of witness Dhorks with Cherubs till the end with the broken heart of Stolas and Blitz splitting up 😢I hope next episode bring some light in the series as it’s called “Apology Tour” fingers cross that Blitz and Stolas can make up and Blitz say sorry to his actions to Stolas. Or maybe to his friends and ex he faced throughout his struggle life.

Colin is my favorite. Hopefully he’s the one who makes it back into heaven and leaves those other two behind. He’s by far the only one who truly cares about helping people and questions what Cletus and Keenie ideas of “helping people.” Someone commented the way they are getting money is the same way some churches get people to donate money for greedy reasons. Edit: also I don’t blame blitz for thinking Stolas was role playing. After all, he did start this conversation at the night they were supposed to hook-up. Out of all the different nights/days he could’ve brought this up, it was on the night of their “passionate fornication.” Also, it’s a bit hypocritical of Stolas to say that Blitzø always thinks of s*x when he’s the one who made the deal and always called him up like: “I WANT YOU TO [beep] ME WITH YOU [ beep] [beep] GET IT ALL THE WAY THROUGH YOU [ BEEP ] [ BEEP ]

Blitz has abandonment issues and struggles to comprehend love. He lives in his own world, believing he will die alone and that no one could ever love him. He feels unworthy of being loved. In Season 1, Episode 1, Stolas frames their entire relationship around sex, benefiting solely from it while treating Blitz like a pet, using pet names like "Blitzy" or "my little imp." At the beginning of the Full Moon episode, Stolas sings about giving Blitz the choice to be with him as an actual couple, but he ultimately fails to follow through on this promise. Later in the episode, when they meet again, Stolas immediately focuses on his own desires, wanting his grimoire back permanently. It was Stolas who shut down Blitz as soon as Blitz realized that Stolas was being serious about their relationship. Before anyone argues that Blitz joked about Stolas's relationship advancements, it's important to note that Blitz entered the transactional relationship with Stolas and perceived his advances as a sexual kink.

Blitzø has so much baggage and so much self-hatred that he's convinced himself a long time ago no one can love him. So when Stolas says he does, Blitzø can't understand it. "Why would he say that? He doesn't mean it, so why?" So he goes through the other possible reasons in order: "it must be a joke. It's not? Then it's a weird roleplay. Wait, why isn't he into this? Oh, I get it, he's just mocking me because he's noble and I'm a lowly imp, right?" So he lashes out, because he thinks he's being mocked and disrespected -- but only because he ruled out the possibility that it's genuine long before he ever met Stolas. Meanwhile, Stolas also doesn't understand where Blitzø is coming from. Despite always trying to be more than his upbringing, everyone has constantly told him that nobility and the lower class can't mix. His father literally hit him for daring to bow to Blitzø as kids; Stella physically abused him not for cheating on her, but for cheating with a lower class; etc. So when Blitzø responds to his confession by assuming it's about sex, he doesn't see it as "Blitzø is broken and can't see the truth"; he sees it as "everyone was right, and even Blitzø knows we can't be anything more than this". It's a heartbreaking example of how two people can project their own baggage onto each other, so that even while they're being very clear in what they say to each other, they can't believe any of it. They can only assume their own motivations for the other, and so they talk past each other and misunderstand everything even while their words are plain and honest. Communication isn't just "telling them the truth"; it also requires you to see your words and actions from their perspective so you can understand things the way they do. And these two are so broken and bad at that, from a lifetime of people telling them that what they want can't possibly happen. It's such good (and, as I said, heartbreaking) writing, a therapist's field day 😅

Something to note. Blitzø was nothing but excited for his date with Stolas. Even dressing up. Just because. That’s not normal for him at all, and it’s because Stolas gave him the freedom to choose whether to honor their monthly deal or not. That was all it took for Blitzø to be completely happy and comfortable in their relationship, and for his natural affection Stolas to bubble up.

The device in there hands was a Pokedex-Like, a pokemon reference lol, this episode was the most saddest one yet man, can't wait for the next episode. The Amos Crystal is what Stolas got from Episode 6 when he met with him.

I just realize.. Stolas put the Grimmoire back, right besides the book about Pirates.. when they used to be kids.

Blitzo is a classic self sabotager and the fact that Stolas only talked to him in sexy talk for TWO seasons didn't exactly help making him understand that he wants this to be an actual relationship instead of just a fling, something the Music video "Just look my way" even mentions ("I will try to make amends for making you means to an end" ergo the crystal and letting him go). Both are at fault for this situation imo but Blitzo blowing up at him like that must've hurt like hell Prediction: Blitzo is now gonna pretend like this never happened and torture himself, thinking that his inate instinct of "everyone leaves in the end" has been proven correct and Stolas... Stolas will just stop functioning

The whole Stolas x Blitz crashed like crazy. Meanwhile, the entire manhunt for the IMP company was brewing behind closed doors.

Besides all that deep emotional drama in this episode: I knew the Cherubs and the Dhorks have to come back, at some point + team-up.. am i the only one who's getting huge Big Hero 6 vibes from this? These are the first spider demons we have seen outside of the Sinners like Angel Dust. Since this is in Lust that means these are Hellborn demons. I wonder if these are the Greed rings native demons because all we’ve seen from Greed was sharks and imps which belong to Envy and Wrath. Also kinda makes sense that the spiders are from greed since Mammon’s true form was kinda spider like and during the clown competition he was perched on a spider web watching it.

Any demon would have reacted positively to being handed an Asmodean crystal for free. The fact that Blitz didn't react that way instantly should have been the biggest sign to Stolas that Blitz may secretly do have feelings for him but Blitz just doesn't realize it yet. I think Stolas should have noticed that but I can see how he didn't, especially just based on how many other fans easily sided with Stolas. I think Stolas should've also tried to listen to what Blitz had to say about this offer first but nope, he just dismissed him after Blitz thought it's some kind of foreplay. Like, my guy, don't try to make this meeting so brief. Try to have an understanding with one another. (big sigh)

I see fault on both parts, Stolas isn’t completely blameless yeah Blitz maybe could have handled it better but Stolas has been thinking about this for a while so has had time to process his feelings whereas Blitz wasn’t given the same opportunity, he has this sprung on him and Stolas expected an answer there and then, and when it wasn’t the one he was wanted he through Blitz out. Blitz had a trauma response, he spent his whole life being used, ppl only ever wanted him if he was a benefit to them, I can completely relate to him in the episode, and understand his reaction.

This is more stolas’ fault than blitzos by a long shot

The differences in Stolas and Blitzo and how they see their relationship is so well written. Stolas wants it to be not transactional because he needs the connection. Blitzo needs it to be transactional because he is terrified of the connection. The duality is mind blowing in its depth and the way the voice actors brought it to life (the way Brice had his voice break at the end and the way Brandon's anger game through) makes this episode hit that much harder. Plus we got to see insane action and I'm always up for more Fizz!

Fun Facts: Loona disappearing out of nowhere after Blitzo turns his attention away from her for a brief moment is similar to Batman doing the same thing when Commissioner Gordon, or anyone else talking to him, turns around for a bit and then back again to find he's already gone 👑👑👑 D.H.O.R.K.S. The cloning ships in the underground facilities and cloned Catholic bishops marching in military formations are an homage to the Kaminoan cloning facilities and clone troopers from Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones 👑👑👑 During the duet, the book Stolas places the Asmodean Crystal Between are the same two books Stolas showed to Blitzo as a child in episode "The Circus" 👑👑👑
