I went to a John’s concert in 2019 and he was 70 yrs old and was just as charismatic and his voice was just as powerful, and in my opinion better. I have seen John several times and each concert is a bucket list experience. It is wonderful to see other people experience the wonder that is Australia’s favourite son, “the voice”.

I worked at plenty of John Farnham concerts, as well as plenty of others. One thing I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere is that a Farnsy concert only had the volume turned up to about 7, compared to 10 for any other concert. This is also another big reason for his multi generational appeal.

This is one of my favourite of John’s. The messages in his songs about looking after our world and his spreading of good will contributed to him being named Australian of the Year in our bicentennial year 1988. As well as him putting his hand up for fundraising concerts to support his fellow Australians on so many occasions. He is awesome.

I was lucky enough to see 5 or 6 of John's concerts, including one with the MSO. As you're learning, there is no one better, Live, and, even though you go for John, he surrounds himself with the best backup singers and band.

I’m a 72 old man so I’ve heard all of JF music, I agree with you every time I’m feeling down, I listen to Johns music and he fills me with a feeling that I can only describe as happiness. There’s so many songs like, I can do anything, Your the reason, Touch of Paradise, listen to the Wind, See the banners fall, and so many more, like you Burn for you, I lost my wife recently and Debbie loved her music, listening to John somehow makes me feel her presence 💕music is a wonderful gift and John delivers every time.

Just to think that no one was prepared to offer him a record deal, is Earth shattering. And his manager had so much faith in him that he remortgage his own home to be able to fund the finance pyjamas be able to perform and have a record, how crazy is. Thank God for his manager Glenn Wheatley.

Farnsey’s concerts are legendary. I know because I’ve been to a few. You see what he puts into one song, well just multiply that by 2 1/2 hours of non stop high energy entertainment. I’m just sorry I missed the one with the MSO. John’s never retired because he just loves doing what he does, and his millions of fans have continued to follow him over the years. This was one of John’s many big hits. He’s the GOAT.💕

Everyone is asked to react to Help or You’re The Voice first both live at the same concert. I think so you can see what he is capable of and he is capable of so much more. I think most of his songs went to number one. The Whispering Jack Album couldn’t be moved by Michael Jackson. It was number one for more than 6 months. John’s manager Glenn Wheatley got a call from the Company that handled Michael Jackson here. He told Glenn he had the album so could he move John out of the way. Glenn told him he knew that he couldn’t do that and that guy said no to signing John so Glenn as his best friend first was a lot happy about that call. No one in Australia or America would sign John. Glenn put his home and and everything he owned up to make that album. Then no radio station would listen to it or play it but Glenn got it heard until enough of us heard it and demanded they play it. The night the voice hit number one Glenn was driving John somewhere. Glenn said can you believe we are number one three times so he looked at John and he was crying. That meant Glenn wouldn’t lose everything and he would have money for his family, they both would. John has always been kind and you will find many more songs to love. I am still finding songs I have never heard before. There is no genre he cannot sing that I have found so far. I was surprised to find a Country music song about 6 months ago and I thought this will be the one. It was amazing and John has spent most of his time on a horse with his family at home. Then there was Opera with Anthony Warlow at the Main Event Concert live singing Granada. I don’t love Opera and this is an older John but he is funny and silly, you will learn more of who he really is. Anthony had just gone through some rough cancer treatment so Olivia Newton John came home and toured with them both for three months. Livvie was always a big cancer supporter since she lost her sister. She always came home for her cancer walk each year to make money for her Cancer Wellness centre. It is in Melbourne and it is for anyone with cancer to go to and feel better. Not like a Hospital, she had a retreat near her home here too. She didn’t make her last walk but one of the nieces she raised did. All three of these performers have always been all heart. I love hearing John sing Gethsemane in the musical, Jesus Christ Superstar. I hate that I never got to see it live. I love that I did get to see him live in other concerts. Have you seen John say why he wrote Burn for You? Three of them on tour wrote a verse each to their wives. Thank you.

True words. Every single song will grow on you eventually. If not for his amazing distinctive voice and his ability to connect but also almost every song has a great message. This song was actually another number 1 hit for him. It topped the charts for weeks. From the Album of the same name which was his 13th Studio album and was also his second highest selling album with 11 x Platinum after whispering Jack 24 x Platinim. It's just that John has so many great performances that we are spoilt for choices. Everyone has their favourite so they just come out first. Seriously you have still only scraped the very tip of the huge iceburg of Farnham performances. One of my less know favourites is Let Me Out...also from that same concert. I hope you'll check that one out sometime

Thank you for this one. I had forgotten how important the message from this is, especially today. How can we fail to see that what we need is an age of reason? I have seen many concerts: Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, Celine Dion, Tom Jones, Cat Stevens, Bette Midler, Elton John, Neil Diamond, so many others. There are two that were head and shoulders above all these John Farnham, Simon&Garfunkel. John: passion, pitch, power=perfection.

It's not just the fact that he sings well, he takes you to an emotional level, where we can feel the music, as if you're a participant in the lyrics, so much passion he puts into it. Like a lot of people get on here and make comments about the artist and his music ECT . Ive gone on there a few times and said my bit , and woke up the next morning to see a response like they normally respond on these channels , I got the biggest shock of my life that he responded to my comments personally I was so over the moon, that John Farnham replied to me personally. Walking around feeling like Little Miss importance ha ha I have loved his music for so long , and for him to get back to me i felt so elated. Still smiling.

Also in the same concert, there's a political song called 'In days to come' u definitely need to react to. It has Martin Luther King Jr "All men are reacted equal" in it.

Great reaction to an amazing tune. Bro that moment at 06:55 i have the same feeling everytime. Honestly thought about it (stoned) and that chorus is super optimistic, melodic and those vocals make that part soar. Come to the 06:55, complete mood change. Those background vocals! Sombre tone in the voice and lyrics to really hit home what the message is all about. It's the part that sticks out the most for me in the tune. Love your work bruv.

Sorry I got mixed up , I thought you were doing end of days, which is about black and white , great song with meaning. But you said in 16 hours you going to be playing Age of reason you're going to love this performance to I actually love this performance of Age of reason, is a couple of others where he does that song in different settings , but this is the better version.
