Hey 'E'! I've been using ControlNet with Deforum (canny & open pose) but not sure if both those elements actually made the Caracter creations any better? Mmmm. Ima have to try generating the same thing twice (controlnet & sans controlnet) and see. I only compared a new generation (controlnet) to an older one. Also, I'm in the middle of testing Topaz Ai to remove flickering/morphing from img2img SD video PNG sequences. My testing workflow is: sorry for such a long message... 1. Use AE to create PNGs from video (1080P). 2. Delete half of PNGs (help reduce flickering) - (following a suggestion from a previous video you posted). 3. Use SD img2img (batch) to stylize the PNGs using ControlNET batch (720P to speed up the process). 4. Import SD img2img PNGs back into AE, change time to 200 and enable frame blending and render the video back out again. 5. Import the video into Topaz AI. Use Topaz Stabilization feature - reduce jittery and upscale back to 1080p. i was surprised since this is the least flickery/jittery/morphing video so far I've created. I'm still in the middle of seeing which method is best but here is my test... reference Step 4 above. Export video from AE as video without frame blending and leaving video size 720p (100%) Export video from AE as video with frame blending and leaving video size 720p (100%) Exporting video from AE after resizing to 200% no frame blending Exporting video from AE after resizing to 200% with frame blending. I'm curious to see which option leads to the best video quality....

Awesome amigo! Thank you for sharing. In your opinion do you prefer Parseq over this AE motion bro plugin? I've been doing the camera moves in my head hahaha but want to start doing more sophisticated moves. I run SD/Deforum on a Laptop with RTX 3000, its a little slow. I have to stick to 512x512 or 512x768 at 12 or 15fps. Are you using any Google Notebooks to run Deforum and if so is it worth the Google Colab subscription? Gracias!!

Crazy that you do it in your head 😂. But i would say parseq is great if you don’t have AE. If you have AE and are comfortable using it, I’d say AE is easier. I use my local pc, not sure what’s how there at the moment for Colab.

@@enigmatic_e I wish i still used Deforum this is a really cool feature... My last AI experiment before going into hiatus was syncing audio to deforum keyframes but my method was too detailed and had a lot involved so I decided never to share it... I feel with the Ae camera involved a lot can be preplanned which is great especially for music videos and such... I personally have stopped AI animation just due to the jitter and/or the opposite spectrum which is warp that interpolates so much I feel like I'm melting... hahaha but I also have been using AI for anime for over two years now... Maybe my eyes and brain have had enough for now... I still see some interesting work sometimes but it just isnt for me anymore I dont think... but if I do ever use Deforum again i will definitely play with this plugin... Great job as always my friend...

Good tutorial. Thanks much. Gonna use it tomorrow. Quick note: at the beginning you explain the AE x, y, and z translation tools as 2D. That's incorrect. Translation, when using all 3 axes, is as 3D as the 3 axes of rotation.(Yeah, I know you were comparing them to the 2D in Deforum because they cheat on the "zoom" thing, but you might not want to bring that weird thinking along to AE because it will screw up newbies also learning AE.

There is another way, which is to add this file to the add-ons of Blender. I think it's easier because you can directly rotate the camera as you like and export the data without having to adjust it as much as with AAF
