So little comments make me feel so old, I remember downloading my own summer when the internet first came out, took half and hour for a 4 minute song.. this is an amazing build to the song. You my friend get a good slow clap from me 👏

Awesome cover. Chino Moreno sounds a lot like Simon Le Bon but still manages to pull off a class cover ♥️

You'll never beat the original of this track!. One of my favourite tracks of all time. This is a really excellent cover though, it has a magic all of it's own.

All due respect to the original, but I feel Deftones has the best cover and possibly the best version of all time. I can't find any other version including the original that hits hard and makes me want to drive hard.

@@8bit_bryan It sounds like a generic Deftones song, great harmony but the sadness of the original, the dark harmony and the folk flute makes a contrast that is superb, Deftones missed it but sounds cool...

Great comments on here folks, great version by deftones and I mean great, but not forgetting who made the song and sang it so well for all those years,,Duran Duran, but noboys is debating that fact, just enjoying this tune by whom ever sings it, ,this is what I love about music, variety/change/versatility.and enjoying people cover other bands music ,while paying homage to it. I thank you music heads. Now peace out from Dublin, (while I watch stop making sense.)

Wtf? Why is this version different than the original Deftones version? Outro sounds so off and the extra measure Chino sings before the outro?!! No good man.

Sounds like the same version I've been hearing for over 20 years, except when they shortened the outro. But it just continues on for another 20 seconds and fades. It's not really different.
