@@masonharkness6437 It was really something... Not to mention for the longest time the wings on the CW-21 were unbreakable so you could use them as murder scythes basically. Oh and when they released the cannon Ki-44 it had the same flight performance as the regular Ki-44. That too was really something. Lots of shredding off all four biplane wings at once.

I have that trouble im to use to speed of F104J and F4ej and mig 21MF Mig23 so on going back to bf109 or Zeros feels like im standing still plus being able engage enemy from miles out got me in bit of a pickle and forgetting have to actually watch my speed

To beat the 109 speed wise the deleted wing and nose radiators and filled it completely with internal watercoolers

BR compression isn't bad at all in props. The He-100 would be fine at 3.3-3.7. What is bad in props is aircraft at BRs that they shouldn't be at. The 109F-1 is the exact same as the F-2 yet sits at a lower BR despite having the better cannon for air combat. The F-1 needs to go to the same BR that the F-2 is at. The P-39N is a darn near spitting image performance wise relative to the Yak-3 with significantly better dive characteristics but worse guns yet the two aircraft can't actually see each other in game because they are so far apart in BR. I could easily go on.

The issue is that it’s guns SUCK

Problem is that the He-100D in game isn't the actual He-100D. The actual He-100D had a standard cooling system like the BF-109 did. It also had either a 15mm MG151 or 20mm MG/FF motor cannon.

@@bulbusarues Well, the top speed of Ki-44-II is actually way higher than 605km/h in the statcard. At 5000m it can go 618km/h and since optimal alt is probably indeed 5200, 620km/h is possible. Ki-44-I probably won't go faster than 576km/h. At sea level difference is huge - 503 vs 546km/h. And engine power difference is quite big also Ki-44-II has 2 supercharger gears so it has has more stable power output on top of having noticeably more horsepower - which is the main cause of the speed difference at 0-1500m range (which is a very important range for this game). What's interesting is, at 3000m they are equally fast, because that's the "bad spot" for Ki-44-II supercharger (basically that's the gear switch alt) while it's almost best alt for Ki-44-I supercharger. Does that make Ki-44-I bad? Not at all. But Ki-44-II Otsu is a performance monster and the 0.3 BR difference does not really reflect the performance gap, which is way bigger than between f.e. Bf 109 F4 vs Bf 109 G10. :)

@@bulbusarues Don't use the stat cards. The turn time and climb rate is wrong on every aircraft. The speed is wrong on around half of them too.

@Richard Armour It's usually not wrong, but only correct for a specific weight and temperature. Statcards could be useful, if you know how to read them.

@@martijn9568 There are a number of props where, no matter the fuel load, the turn time nor climb rate do not match. The stats presented are completely useless as a result. Yes, I am aware that someone in the forums has found that, for the most part, they are within an error of about 5% of the aircraft with full fuel in regards to climb rate but that still presents a sizable error and, as I said above, there are still a number of aircraft where it is still not close. So again, they are useless.

2.0 is a good minimum, I think it'd be fine at 2.3.

I think that even might be a little high. It is even more fragile than a zero with less armament. Most players don't know how to abuse the speed and even good players can get impatient and bleed it all away.

Yup if someone nicks a wing you're now in an inevitable engine overheat situation. It's a blast at any tier though.

It’s one of the reasons I ended up just buying Premium vehicles. So I wouldn’t have to deal with that crap and I could get to the ranks where it would be mostly my level players. I’m both glad and mad that I waited until I had gotten to tier 4 the f2p way no Premium or premium vehicles. It was such a frustrating and painful experience. Never once thought “wow this is fun” and now I am at the point where I’ve already spent enough that not playing anymore feels like throwing away money. So I keep playing despite not liking the game or ever enjoying it, always just angry. I really need to quit playing for a while.
