The A-4N in the Israeli tech tree looks to be the best version. It gets AIM-9Ds, and has a more powerful engine.

Well yes but you're also going to be facing planes you can't really kill every match as well. Not sure if it's worth the tradeoff Will have to try it out first

Yeah I got the a4n, my experience is the acceleration is fantastic for a non afterburning aircraft and the delta’s really do get work done, but in fights against f5cs, f4cs, and other 10.0-10.3 planes you hardly stand a chance. In a downtier I find it to be wonderful though.

@@DEFYN it's my first 8.0 jet with full uptier and like my 5th match or something and at the end i kinda paniced and though you would be able to pitch up so my instinct was diving. Keep up the vids bc it helped me to get better as i hope the vid kinda showed.

Got this thing because my friend never claimed his harrier pack and I had US done - It's great actually. Once I learned not to rip the wings I've gotten more ace games in it than most anything else. It's a great jack of all trades - and man, it's REALLY nice having countermeasures at such a low BR, almost rather have that than OP missiles.

I really like those kinds of fights, the last one was amazing, from both of you. I really wish you could do more Subsonic Jets like the F9F Panthers or Hunters since I struggle a lot (especially with the F9F-5) and hearing you explaing advantages and disadvantages really helps a LOT!

Hey defyn great video. Would like to see you possibly pull out the mirage now that it's at 10.3 to show how complete bonkers it is fighting 9.3s and 9.7s so often. 10.0 &10.3 gets so many downtiers rn to 9.3 & 9.7 because of the yaks harriers and thunderchief.

Took me 7 games to get a battle on 8.7, coz I too wanted to test this plane as a fighter, but for that i (must) had to face planes in my speed range! It wasn't that bad, got 3 kills in the end, but the bomber role is the more secured one, when it comes to rewards!

Really kinda want the Kfir but man the tree seems like such a slog. Might try to get the meteor with nose cannons and talisman that to grind through rank 6. I do kinda hate when the only high tier prem in a tree is a ground attacker.

I like te EC maps in air RB. More 1v1 or 1v2 instead of the crazy fur balls and I feel like it gives the lesser planes a better chance cuz they can set themselves up and play smart instead of having to play on every one else's terms

Worth noting for any joystick players, the A-4Es are not easy to fly, they have a very imprecise roll.

I fly the A4 early totally different i stay REALLY low i found on the deck in a turn fight it out preforms a lot of planes at lower speeds and its roll i can play with phantoms down low

i'ts a support aircraft, bleds a lot of speed and any damage in the wing will rip it off but anyway i really love it, good guns, missiles... i'ts very good in down tier, in up tier everyone is better than you.

This thing would actually be pretty cool if you wouldn't rip your wings all the time. Also a ballistics computer would be so nice, I mean you can carry gbu's but you don't have a targeting computer.

Bring the gun pod and manage your speed. I actually have very good games with it with head on and high deflection shots. But this plane isn't one you can carry on. I'm consistently getting 4 kills with this and its how I do the WINTER stars other than the 109G2.

These things are probably the most sad thing to fight in the canberra. They always go for you and turn in and it's so easy to kill them. They are annoying tho cause they put you out of position in that plane. Also I would've shot off the missiles during that fight with the g91 to drop excess weight.

It kinda sucks in Air RB tbh, you are too slow to dogfight or ground pound, you are essentially free kills for the enemy, but it's a good cas plane for sure. Also the spam of a4s really help to grind operation winter, you got so many inexperienced pilot flying this thing you can just farm up on kills, but if you are on Israel side on ground rb you are pretty much doomed.

According to the files they are practically just a aim9b with a better rocket motor that has a 5 second burn time instead of the 2.2 second burn time, and goes 2.1 mach max speed instead of 1.7 mach max speed. It appears to have the same seeker with no off bore capability and same crappy 11 degrees a second tracking rate.

Allies 8.7 always, always, always fight vs Soviet 9.0/9.3, who are even super broken BR because Yak 38 and mig19 and especially mig21 must be higher BR for sure!!! Israël have the luck to be sometimes in the Soviet side
