Arsenal's Captain Martin Odegaard undeniably brings a creative spark to the team, but there's a valid concern about over-reliance. To mount serious challenges in the Premier League and Champions League, diversifying creative options in the attacking central areas of the pitch is essential.
Two potential options that could strengthen Arsenal's midfield are Crystal Palace's Eze and Xavi Simons, currently on loan from PSG at RB Leipzig. In order to bring in a sub for martin, we need to offload vieira and esr. These are two players in that same position. They just dont work as well in a possession system like artetas, they are more direct.

@@JayFergusonTV well we did with Rice and with Havertz. To compete with City, Real and big teams? We have to buy big players in certain positions, especially when there's been many trials with young untested players which hasn't worked out. A midfield trio of Rice Musiala and Odg 😍. A dream? Yes but it's not unachievable.

I see your point but there are not many in the Santi mould. I know they say that zubamendi has some of those traits but I want rice as the 8 not 6 so just a youthful replacement for Partey and that other option of the bench

Jesus a midfielder, there I said it. Could play him as left 8. He’s all over the pitch, creative, strong and tricky. He’s not clinical but if he’s chipping in with 10 goals from midfield I’d take that all day long.

Sure .. in theory! But there is no way you can play ødegaard and jesus in midfield at the same time. Maybe jesus can play in martins spot to give him a rest. I think id like to see jesus play more in the wide forward positions, imo he is a better footballer then martinelli and trossard.. maybe even better then saka going forward, not defensively though.

Unpopular opinion but I think Gabriel Jesus is not at the level of Arsenal and City. Talented player but maybe the level is too much. I can see him thriving under less scrutiny less pressure . For example a Dortmund

Can’t see Villa letting Bailey go especially with them go champions league.. Olise I would take. I don’t know about Barclay being better than Eze. But fair enough !
